For years I struggled to muster the courage to go out at Friday nights as I'm kind of shy.

However, today it just changed somehow and I'm going to ask my brother(who is a social butterfly), if he wants to go out with me together.

Wish me luck!

Update:

I went outside yesterday with my brother and I was (literally) shaking of excitement. It seems like all my fears have been for nothing. It's nothing specially hard really.

However, we were only two, and he hasn't invited any friends. I'll keep you updated when that happens, seems like it's going to be soon.

PS:
I manifested a jogging buddy. The same day that I started with S.R.!

Sounds like things went well for ya. Isn't it crazy how things change once you decide to finally take action? Regardless of the outcome, you always have a better possibility of something good happening by just taking action alone.

Next step: pick up.

Just kidding. Whatever you do, don't start drinking to become more "sociable". That's the mistake that most people make when they start going out. Stay relatively sober until you get the hang of things. Anyway, good to see you're confronting your fears. Make sure you have fun as well.
