the problem that I have with days like Valentines day and to some extent christmas is that people feel like on that day they HAVE to get gifts and show some sort of phony adoration for their loved ones. I much prefer to think that everyday should be a day that you have these thoughts of giving love or small tokens of your affections... So I think of These days as just another day. Honor your love for another everyday.. and give your tokens appreciation other days out of the year...

Unfortunately most people DON'T give or show appreciation on a daily basis to the people that are important to them. So be grateful there IS Christmas or Vday at all or you might never get anything... ever lol
