Default Looking for a PUA buddy

I am on a quest to rework my personality (inner game), become more confident, open towards people, meet new friends and get the kind of girlfriend that I deserve. (And prove my 10th grade teacher WRONG for saying that I "should just settle for someone 'good enough' when they come along"). Yeah, I really needed to get that last bit off of my chest.

I feel that I would benefit a lot if I had someone who is going through the same things as me to share stories and advice with. If you are interested in drastically improving your social skills, get a better understanding of people (especially women) and living a more exciting and fascinating life then you may be the person I am looking for.

My plan is to meet up in Skype and discuss PUA strategies, whether improving your inner game, approaches, presentation routines, or anything else that we might be interested in.

Ideally you would be enthusiastic, determined to make a change and committed enough to go out at least a couple of times a week to meet and talk to new people. The last bit is vital - I am not interested in shallow theorizing, but in practical experiences.

If you feel that you have what it takes then send me a PM! Or just use this thread to post any questions or comments.

I'm very interested in the PUA stuff, but there's some stuff I want to do before I dive properly into cold approach. I've had a minor speech impediment since childhood, so I've scheduled speech and language therapy starting in january. Then I intend to get voice coaching to further improve my voice, and maybe even singing lessons after that.

I also want to take improvised comedy workshops and join a public speaking club.

I think in order to be successful as a PUA, you need a fairly high level of people/social/communication skills. Just going out and doing lots of approaches, it's probably possible to develop them through practice and trial and error, but I think I'd like to develop them to at least a reasonable level first, so when I do start going out I don't have such a steep learning curve.

So if you're looking for someone who's interested in actively improving their social skills with a view to improving their success with women, then I'm your man. If you're looking for someone who's actively approaching and hitting on women, that's probably not gonna be me for another 3-6 months
