Really sad tonight, can't sleep.

Lauxa, I'm so sorry about your dog! Big hugs, huge hugs.

I know it stinks, I'm still sad too, but we obviously loved our buddies and so I am sure they are happily playing around in the ether (well, my cat was a dog-hater so she's probably hissing at your dog, but I think they're still happy now and at peace).

Lots of love to you and your kids.

Hey Aspiring......

My cat was 22 when she died. I immediately went out and got another - one that desperately needed a home (he now rules my home with a paw of iron), her 'surrogate' son...

He was 18 months old and is now 12, so the day will come when he passes on too, but I have given him a fantastic time and acceded to his every whim (dog's have masters, cats have staff, and I know my place!)......when that sad day comes, I will go straight out and get a 'surrogate' son or daughter to him who needs a home.

Pass your cats legacy on to another in need.
