Not sure. I've managed to piss off one family this weekend, so I'm expecting either booby-trapped stockings or getting screamed out of the house before dinner. Then the next day I'm supposed to hang with another family that's always close to critical mass anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if Mt. Drama explodes and drenches all the villagers in molten hot crazy. I hate the holidays. They suck. Even Halloween.

| I'll be alone this week. I don't celebrate Christmas or acknowledge any other religious event at this time of the year. I feel rushing around once a year to gift everyone I rarely talk to [with gifts they won't like anyways] just to observe a religious holiday in which I or most of my friends have no interest in is something not very worthwhile for me. It's just a time/money waster as well as a big insult to everyone involved. What I will be doing near the end of this month, however, is getting together with a friend on a sort of "relax and talk about our adventures" afternoon. We'll share ideas and a few crafted gifts for our future travels. Some are symbolic of new travels while others are useful for actually traveling. That's my favorite holiday; one you can make up with friends for any theme/occasion. |

I'm spending the first day of christmas with my parents, brother and my sister and her boyfriend. On the second day, I'll be celebrating that I have no pesky in-laws to go to!

I'm Jewish, but for some reason I look forward to christmas more than any Jewish holiday, even thoguh we don;t really celebrate it. I suppose it's the mince pies... but I'll be with my parents, my brother, my sister, and probably my grandparents. Merry Christmas!

I'll be celebrating with my family- parents, sis, both sets of grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins (one set christmas eve the other christmas day). So glad the majority of my family live in the same area- it is uncommon here- outside of Wash. DC. I'm not a fan of the idea of religious holidays, but for me it is a cultural/family tradition holiday and I like any excuse to buy gifts for people I love!

I will spend Christmas alone. My family lives away from me, and I chose this year not to travel to spend it with them (and I'm single with no kids). So on Christmas day, I'll just instead call everyone up in my family to wish them a Happy Christmas. They'll be so happy to hear from me, and I'm happy to hear from them, we have a great time talking and connecting on the phone. |

12 of my relatives.. hopefully including my Uncle who had triple by pass surgery and a massive infection that darn near killed him, and my Aunt(Not the wife of my uncle) who had a blood clot removed(i think) just last week. I have been feeling more and more love in my heart lately and I am very excited to share it with my family...in spite of the fact that they are crazy just like everyone elses family.

I wish I had an extended family that could all gather together in ridiculous festive clothing and chuckle in clusters while I sit back and watch the whole affair. Instead I'll spend it with my lonely and aging mother, my sister and a few other siblings who are too busy to stick around like they used to. It's times like these that I wish I weren't so passive at gatherings. Hey maybe I'll come out of my shell. I'll report with my findings. |

For christmas day, our main xmas day this year, grandma (the only grandparent I have left), my parents, my sisters, their partners and their kids. This adds up to 15. There will be food, candy, new games, old games and lots of joyful chatting. Oh, and gifts, but that's not important.

On Christmas day I'll be with my girlfriend and her family, and then this weekend she and I will be dropping by to see my family on the way to the mountains to stay a couple days with old friends.
