Im so confused !!
 

I have just recently been dating a guy 8 years my senior, all my friends were surprised when I chose him from the rest, they would say I deserve better but I didn’t care about their opinion, for me I was happy and that’s all that matters.

At the start he would e-mail me poems, txt and ask about my day, calls me to see what Im doing, and make an effort to see me almost 4 times a week, then we started hanging out in his place during the weekend and we talk of being exclusive, my world just revolve around him, and that’s just for the span of four months, we planned for so many things, trip to different places…

Suddenly this week he has changed big time, he won’t even respond on my emails, he said is always out of the office for meetings (since he is a consultant), then the txt is gone, then now even calls, Im so confused coz last weekend we were so OK we even went to a festival with his friends. Yesterday he wont even pick up my call, he did call me back but we talk very briefly and he said “I love you baby” in the end of the conversation.

Today , its 1pm and I haven’t heard a word from him which is very unusual,
as much as I want to call him, Im thinking maybe he want some space so Im holding myself from doing the first move to contact him.

I’m so confused and can’t read between the lines, please help me:confused:

I think you are right in waiting... give him some time. Maybe he is busy at work, maybe something urgent has come up. You know when you are busy how time flies...
Also I think that some men find it difficult to multitask. (sorry! :) )
If something important (in their opinion) has come up and it can't wait to be sorted out, they focus all their energy on there and forget about the world for that moment.

Use this time for yourself. Do something fun. Meet with friends that you haven't seen for a while...

From the sound of it, his world does not revolve around you (trust me, that is a good thing).

Have you considered that the problem might not be with him, but with you? Who are you being by making him the center of your universe? Is that a fair thing to do for you? And is it fair to expect him to do the same for you?
