Hi everyone, Have been thinking... that I don't feel particularly strong within myself at this present moment of time… I am not happy with my life the way it is… I also feel that there are a lot of things I would like to change… but don’t feel I have the strength… to do the changes by myself… Why? I don’t know…. I was wondering how other people deal with that... when they feel not so strong..(Or do they? Once strong, always strong??) How do they overcome periods like that..? |

Here's what I do. I always recollect all my goals from the past like when I was just a kid and see if I did something I could have done before so that it could boost my drive to do more. Also, I more likely to adapt a positive living and jollier socializing to lighten up you days. Be careful with your current state now since it might draw you to self-destruction.

Hey there champ (: There are loads of ways you can improve your view on life, your selfconfidence and your genereal state. You could consult a NLP master, this is somethign that helped me ALOT. But ofcourse there are loads of things you could do yourself. A little thing that i found to be extremely powerfull is "101 victories" Sit yourself down, and write down 101 victories you had in your life. It dosn't have to be something thats a succes to others, actually that dosn't matter at all, as long as its a succes for you. For example if you were bad at Math in highschool but still got a C+, thats a victory for you! Could be anything in the world.. This excersice is gonna take a while to complete, but I gurantee you that 101 victories are more than possible for everyone. Once you got them down, reading them now and then is something that WILL cheer you up. Who dosn't like to see how much you actually have achieved? More than that, ofcourse Goals and affirminations are very powerfull ways of increasing your state of mind. Good luck champ |

I feel strong when I read it, like I'm connecting within something true and real. You don't just want short-term alignment that you have to upkeep periodically. That's just tolerance of a nasty life situation, and a lack of alignment with truth, love, and power. Instead, I recommend that you work on actually improving your life as a whole, instead of periodically filling your "tank" with entertainment and other such things that may temporarily increase your alignment and connection, but ultimately, do nothing to help improve the source of your lack of connection: your lack of alignment with love (your core; the qualities that matter to you as reflected in goals that inspire you), truth (an accurate, non-resisted model of both your internal and external reality), and power (the courage and resolve to take action strongly and boldly, instead of hanging back in fear, saying no to what you love). Self-alignment, even in situations where you aren't doing very well, will give you all the connection you need. Self-alignment is synonymous to alignment with truth, love, and power. You'll probably fail to make any decent improvements the first time you try this if it's your first try. That's just the nature of personal development and the success process. You have to build your personal development "muscles" before you can set out for the long journey towards what inspires you without having to head back to camp all the time to rest and recuperate. This is natural, and Steve's book will help you make the transition from "need to rest all the time" traveller to "fearless adventurer, champion of justice."
