2 years ago i was a pretty popular kid. I had my friends and i was pretty happy. I could have been much happier, believe you me, but i had 2 best friends and a bunch of others and i was content. Suddenly, one left school and moved to another city. The other guy suddenly decided to get to know new people. That sucked for me. went for a school trip, got depressed and we all know where that leads. Luckily, the secret fell into my lap and over the next few months i began to believe strong in the LOA. however, in trying to get my old friend back along with a few others, i went through lots of failures and few shortlived successes. I got the gus as my friends and then negative thought patterns made things go back the way they were except each time it got worse. Now, im stronger, smarter and wiser. S.P's stuff helped me make looooads of friends. i kept screwing up time and again which has brought me to a stage where im making friends effortlessly and the other day i managed to get myself into the group i wanted in a matter of 3 days. Unfortunately, despite being MUCH better protected and stronger towards and agaisnt negative thought patterns, i couldnt keep the level of closeness between me and the other 2 members of this inner circle. I think it was because i got in there too easily. What i need to know is, how to mantain a friendship that took me so long to learn to manifest easily. While i can get it back, i jsut kinda set things back one or two steps. To put it simply, how do i mantain a relationship i have manifested? It's only with the 2 guys who i really wanted to be friends with for a long time. sorry its kinda confusing. please try and make sense of it and tell me what to do if possible, i'm a little tired of learning lessons through multiple failures now. |

I read somewhere else on the site about the thought of pulling grass out of the ground to make it grow faster. All you do is kill a bunch of grass, and have less than what you started with. I think that Idea applies to friendship. Man it really can't be forced. The more you focus on it, the more it is going to go away. The biggest lesson I have learned thus far in life is to be self sufficient in all aspects of your life. Accept personal responsibility for your happiness and well being. It was your choice to put it in the hands of your friend who 1. doesn't want that responsibility, 2. doesn't deserve it either. A person isn't something someone can poses. |
