Default Roommate in college

Quick question did you have a roommate when you went to college? And did you get along..how did things go? If you had the choice now would you make that same choice (to have a roommate that is)?

No. I was able to play the medical card.

However, it does get a little lonely without a roommate. But I'm in a fraternity, so it is the best of both worlds. If I want to be alone, I go in my room. If I don't want to be alone, I go out into the center area where everyone hangs out.

Yes, I had a roommate more than one time. My first roommate was not my favorite person. Neither was my 3rd set of roommates. If I had to do it again, I would still have had roommates because it was too expensive without!

I love living by myself now though.

Yup, had roomates. Roomates are nice to keep the costs down. I found a really great roomate halfway through my college and built a very good friendship with him and we kept living together after college for a number of years. Though I can't compare college with no roomates as I've never lived alone.
