 Where to find 'Letter from a daughter to her Mother' - used in personal growth books Hi, A number of times I have come across a letter from a daughter to her Mom - it is often used as a analogy in personal growth books as a way to show perspective - that you have to put things into perspective and to not overreact in situations. The letter - fictional, I would think - is a letter from a girl in college; She informs her mother that she has fallen in love with an older man who is not well educated and is of a different ethnic background etc. She goes on to say that she is having a baby with this man - who, incidentally, has no job. She plans to move in with this guy soon. (This is how I remember the letter going - not 100% sure). The pay-off in the final paragraph is that 'all the above' is made up but that she, the daughter, IS failing school and will have to retake some classes. I have seen this letter a number of times but can't trace it through Google. Can anyone help? Does anyone recognize it? Where can I find it? Thank you      |
