This is a bit random, but I do think it's strange. I know this girl who I've never really felt any attraction to, but last night I have a dream about her, and I wake up and all day I'm thinking about her. The frequency and the way I'm thinking about her makes me think that I might like her, but I'm just sort of taken aback that one dream can make these feelings materialize. Does anyone have any experience in this? Or am I just weird?

| I don't think that the dream materialized the feelings, but rather the other way around. And feelings do start 'at random'... enjoy the ride

This reminds me of how i started to like the guy i have liked now for the last 2 years, but i'd call it more of an obsession cuz he's a famous rock star LOL But yeah,it happened like this,i barely knew who he was, didnt care, whatever, then i had a dream about him,and literally overnight i was in love with him and it's only gotten stronger in the last 2 years. Ahh the power of a dream! I wish i knew the answer to your question...well,actually,i think your question was just asking if this has ever happened to anyone LOL so yeah,it happened to me. But my situation is different cuz i don't know him in real life.

I had a dream that I made love to my ex-brother in law who was really dweebish and after that I looked at him in a whole new light. But dreams like that are pretty random. Don't let your impressionable subconscious mind convince you that there is more to the story than randomness. Jennifer

When I have dreams about a certain girl, my feelings towards those people get much much stronger. Every few months I'll like a girl and then it slowly dies down, then I'll have a dream about her and I think she is the greatest thing again. I'm interested in how this works, as its been quite consistent in my life.

Could you feel more for someone just because you dreamed about them or feel less because you dreamt something bad???? I had a dream last night about my partner not coming to rescue me from a idiotic situation because he was (what I concluded) with a green eyed women!? He sang to me on the phone a bout this!! First of all this could not be true because he would save me and then go back to the women, if there was one, because he is this old fashioned guy with unbelievable integrity. Second I am not a jealous type at all. So I woke up with mixed feelings. Do I give any meaning to the dream?

When I dream of tornados, I don't expect a tornado to appear in my life. The tornado represents change in my dreams. Depending on where I am relative to the tornado and how they affect me in the dream, the changes can be subtle or catastrophic. The people in your dreams represent something. Not the people themselves. Jennifer

Sometimes they are just about that person, like dreams of someone where nothing really happens to latch any meaning to. Fleeting dreams. Without knowing the content of the dreams, it's hard to interpret. Jennifer |

It wasn't the weirdest dream I've ever had but it was random. All I remember from the dream was that I was taking a shower with said girl. All we did really was stand there. At one point she told me that I looked "pretty," which is a pretty strange thing for someone to say to me because I am male. I think another girl I know might have walked in at some point, but that part is blurry.

Let me tell you what you need to do. Go out anywhere (mall, park, library,...) and socialize with everyone. men, women, old, young, hot, ugly, white, black, pink. Socialize with anything that moves. Get talkative. People are NICE. This way you can get that girl out of your head, and instead be in the present. AND you'll also have the social skills to attract the girl YOU like after you've done this for a while.

Just to challenge my answer to you, my subconscious made me dream about my ex husband last night. Whom I never dream about. He was there to lead me, and his brother who was to come later, to a grotto with a nice swimming area. I never saw him in the dream but I knew it was him. He was leaving post-it notes in lime green like a trail for me to follow on the lush grass. Up hill at first, then he must have run out of green because there were a few yellow ones then when the trail turned downhill, he ran out. He left me a note with an arrow. By then I already knew the rest of the way there. He got there ahead of me and I knew he was there because I could hear him in the park's men's room splashing water on his face, making these sighing noises he used to make all the time which I kind of hated. My mood was pleasant in this dream and the setting was gorgeous. Our interaction was minimal and I had no bad feelings until the end with the sighing noises. But I still was having fun with other people there. This dream is what I call a 'message' dream. I can distinguish them because they remain with me forever in my consciousness. I can remember every message dream I have had since a child. Other dreams may be more exciting or fun or scary but they always fade right away. Jennifer
