My Godfather, who seemed to have been happily married for more than twenty years, is having an affair with another woman. I think it's been going on for at least a few months, probably more. My family has always been very close to his family. His wife knows, and I'm sure she will get support from her friends, my parents, and whatever, but it's their children I'm worried about... They are younger than I am, but I grew up with them. Last time I checked, they didn't know, but I'm sure the eldest one would have some idea of what's going on. Is there anything I can do for them? And do any of you have experience as direct or indirect victims of affairs and divorce (or couples staying together after an affair)? |
