Why some girls think that they are the best, even when they do not possess any extra qualities. I have a few friends of mine who are like that. Take an example, one girl who is hardly 4 feet few inches and that too with average features always yells, she is gorgeous..lol..me and my other pals, end up laughing when we listen to her. I have many good looking friends..but they never boast about themselves. Just wanted to know, why some people behave like that? Is it like acting kiddish even at the age of 25 or is it some psychological problem..I am not worried about her..but just want to know some logical reason behind this "quite often seen thing".. |

Something I've found to be a large mistake in my life is trying to give logical reason to emotional happenings. It's very hard to logically explain something that isn't logically motivated. What are the best kinds of oranges to make apple juice out of, you know? You don't have to understand through logic. Maybe put yourself in their shoes and you'll see that Fullcrum is pretty close to spot on. |

If she's that short, maybe she feels like she needs to yell to be heard! Take another look at her -- she IS gorgeous, and she has plenty of extras. You guys are going to feel like fools when you finally get around to realizing it.

One of my bestest little buddies is the 2 year old little boy who lives next door ... he is sooo cool, and has these fantastic trainers (shoes) that flash (little coloured lights in the heels), I was trying to convince him that they'd fit quite well on my feet ... he wasn't having it! We play superman too, where he can jump up and fly around the room at an altitude of, about 7 feet ... for as long as it takes my arms to get tired. Young people are ace, but old people can be 'young' too. Jamie.

Being one of those high-headed girls, it's mostly because I see who I surround myself with that I feel awesome. Have fun. You only spin around the world in this world once. So she's having fun. Awesome for her. |

You know, I've seen those kind of girls at college - the one's who act like they've overosed on sugar and are constantly hyper! It's good for them that they're so happy, however I honestly find their behaviour annoying - like a little kid who won't stop demanding attention. |

Actually such people know the reality. This girl knows that she is short-heighted and she has accepted that. The reason she is so high headed is that she is using other 'Good' traits of her at the very best. And this is the right thing to do. To me she appears to be very positive. |

guys do this too though. there are those guys that seem to be overly confident and cocky for no good reason. this doesn't really answer why people do it, but i just don't think people who think they're hot **** is necessarily gender specific.

I think I saw a post on these forums once that someone had created a mood transition mix-tape - starting from woeful music and transitioning song by song to joyous music. BTW, why on earth is this post in the "Fun & Recreation" forum?

One day someone will contradict her. That will either devastate her, or she will lie to herself and say "everybody tells me that I'm gorgeous" even if no one ever did in fact tell her that. To her everybody told her that she's gorgeous when they didn't contradict her.
