Default Hair Confusion

Me

So... I've been out of the military for a little while and my hair is actually long enough to do something with... but I have no idea what style to go with (or where to get it cut for that matter, since I'm still overseas in Germany). It's been a few weeks since that photo so it's actually a bit longer.

Any advice?

I would cut it a bit on the sides, and keep it longer in the middle (but not longer then it is) you have good thick hair. either that or I would cut it really short, which is nice when you have thick hair

Dare I say that you have a look at a couple of magazines or men's hair books and see if you can spot a cut that you quite like. Make sure that if you do this then pick a style that is on a guy who has a similar face.

It might be a case of experimenting for the next couple of months.

Be wary of leaning on your hair dresser for advice too much as this can (not always) be problematic!

Danas's advice is also good. I like the lenght on top but the sides could be shortend.

have fun

Well, I went ahead and found someplace to get it cut, and it ended up a bit shorter than I intended... but not too bad. Thanks for the advice, and here's the result (at least for the first experiment, heh)
