Inherently people operate on self interest. People are vain, that’s all right. I’m not here to critique peoples vainity, I’m here to give some advice to make them look good. So here goes: 1.Trim your hair. I went a month without a hair cut and I looked like a wild man. If you’re growing your hair long and it looks untrimmed and wild, people observe these things. Men cut your hair short, trim the side, it looks nice and well groom. As for woman, nothing is better then nice silky hair as oppose to soft, dry and harsh looking hair. 2.If you wear prescription glasses, wear something that isn’t so dorky. Big thick glasses are dorky. The frame itself doesn’t have to be stylish, just nice. Ask the worker there at the glass store on which frame looks good on you. Or get laser eye surgery or contact lenses. 3.Yellow teeth. Big turn off. You can beach your teeth for $37 with Crest white strip or go to the dentist and do it for $200. Enough said. 4.How you dress well. If you don’t have any sense of fashion, copy it of the magazine or bring someone who has a sense of fashion to come shopping with you. You can still "be yourself" and dress nice. Last minute special edit: 5. Lose weight. Enough said. Hope that helps. |

Regarding these physical improvements I would like to add that my experience is that these things don't matter one bit! I've recently (about 2 years ago) lost 30kg, you would think it'd matter how people treat you, right? NO! No change at all, only compliments, but no difference in contacts. I changed my hairstyle from VERY short to semi-long/long. Difference in contact? None whatsoever! I had to wear glasses non-stop for about 16 years (and I couldn't have lenses). So last year I had my eye lasering, no more glasses. Difference in contacts? Even some of the closest people didn't notice I didn't wear any! So I pretty much changed everything physically on me. Probably the only thing I didn't do was a gender change (and I even considered that Ofcourse this is such a cliché, "it's about the inner you, not the outer!". But one who takes care of himself physically, making sure he smells right, and looks proper has done enough. The rest is up to the way he behaves and thinks of himself. The inner work is way more important to the outer! And for the sake of variety, let's not all trim our hair to an inch! |

| Unless you're one of those weird people (like me) who find glasses very attractive on either gender. I think when it comes to style, the important thing is to dress consciously. It doesn't have to be expensive, or even 'hip'. Don't wear t-shirts that have a message you don't want to promote, don't just roll out of bed and leave the house, and don't intentionally look trashy. It doesn't matter that Abercrombie and Fitch sold them to you like that, 'paintball-wound pants' still send a message you might not want. |

That's because points 1 through 5 really don't matter that much - they're handles that may help. But it all hinges on point 7: how you carry yourself. If you have a wild man's hair, it can either be very attractive or a complete and utter turn off. Depends on how you feel about it. Same goes for glasses, weight and even clothing.

11. smile - that is diffently a way to be more attractive. Have you noticed yourself when you see someone smiling - that you are more attracted and may take a second look at that person or smile back yourself or say hi?

Spiritual I agree with you too and it was the same for me I had to believe I was hot first and then everyone else seemed to notice.. however I do know that for some people altering some part of their physical appearance can help them feel better about themselves. I am thinking fixing their teeth or nose job or some part of their body they have a real 'negative' mind set about. | |
