I've made some new friends today, thanks to this great forum! Cela and her hubby came over all the way from Australia. Wonderful people. Very cool that they chose to spend one of their few days in Europe with me

Utrecht (where I live) is a 25 minute train ride from Amsterdam.

Danger Man always connects in Amsterdam on his way to Sweden, so we're talking about taking a couple of days layover there and see you. D.M. says it's a wonderful place, he spent a lot of time there. But we won't go till late Spring because of the cold in Sweden. The cold is what made us decide not to go for Christmas, although that castle sounds pretty inviting!

How about that? Springtime in Amsterdam, anyone?
