I wrote an article recently that some of you might find helpful when it comes to helping your relationships to succeed, or understanding why one failed: The Truth Behind Falling - And Being - In Love By the way, is it bad form to let people know about something in this manner? it seems like a cheap plug for your article (since it wasn't in response to anything), but I suppose people can choose to ignore it. Since I choose to ignore it, I will assume it's great... and congrats on a job well done

Hi Jason, I enjoyed that article. Another very important factor in love is humor. According to large studies of marriage (done by Dr. John Gottman), the happiest couples act like best friends and are able to use humor to defuse conflicts.

I'm glad someone liked it  Whether or not it's a "cheap" plug for my article is a reasonable question... it's not like I just posted it in a random place, I was looking around, the forums, happened to see this, looked at a couple of the threads and thought someone might find it useful. So, while it didn't cost me anything, I wasn't just spamming... I put it in an appropriate place. |
