I don't get it. He would never have cooked before. Not because of some values of mine he did not share, of course, no matter how important that was to me, and not even to help me. At the time I was totally overwhelmed by all the work I had plus household chores and cooking and shopping and university stress and everything else going on in my life, and completely losing my nerves, he would not move one single finger to take a little bit of that burden from my shoulders.

And now, he just cooks. And shows me his creations.

I don't get it.
