Default Finding a Mentor

Hi,

Been trying to find some good articles on "how to find a mentor". I did find some articles that focussed on where to look for mentors, but what I am really interested in is in the "art of building a relationship with a mentor".

Being at University, I have had a chance to work with a few lecturers, but when working on a project (which is more personal, than course related), they tend to back out after maybe a session of advice at the most..any links, ideas, suggestions?

Thanks
Ash

I'm tempted to say that you can't really find a mentor - a mentor finds you. I would concentrate on the subject(s) you desire to master. If and when you are ready to be mentored, you are bound to cross paths with said mentor.

Wax on, wax off...
