That BBC article is full of crap, written by nerds with little experience in such matters. No offence to BBC itself, I love the website. Our pop culture is full of such cultural myths about sex and such.

Women want real men. A man who gives her feelings of power and can evoke in her emotional "highs." That's the best way I can describe what I've seen.

They don't want ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trying to buy affection or who allow their sense of identity to be predicated on her reactions. Women love internally validated men.
