Im sure you have heard of mental influence, fascination, direct psychic influence, occult, mind control, mind reading, psychic attack.

If you have any info on this subjects post it.

Ive heard that people form secret societies know all this and that they don't spread this information around.
Also ive searched the net and i dont seem i can find anything.
So any book recommendation, links, old scripts, anyhting - you can find on the subject would be appreciated.

Have you ever heard of the author Jon Ronson? He's written two books that are quite witty and fun and deal with some of the topics you mention (he also has a website and forum).

The books are:

The Men Who Stare at Goats

I'd highly recommend both of these books as they are fun reads and thought provoking.

I can guarantee you that mind control and all this stuff is crap, don't waste your time (i wasted some of mine, and didnt find anything really useful) on those useless things. It's not possible to hold mind control over another normal human being (not in the way you are probably thinking about).


But hey, maybe i'm from a secret mind control organization and i don't want one more person bothering and searching about us, so if you want to do your own search to be sure this stuff is really crap, go ahead

Interesting that this came up. I believe Darren Brown, a popular "magician" from England, uses these techniques to influences his targets. Simon Singh wrote an article about how he uses basic psychological techniques to manipulate stunts and results. But I think there is strong evidence for his using psychic phenomena. I don't know any recommendations, but the ease by which he controls his volunteers or subjects is remarkable.

I found this site and the author claims that it can teach you "BlackOps" (some kind of hypnosis) and you can use its techniques to hypnotize others and do what you tell them to do.

Also by simple searching on psychic attack - you can find dozens of websites on how to defend yourself from psychic attack - but i haven't yet found how can you do a psychic attack to someone.

And about cults - why everyone in a cult listens to their leader - because he is good looking, or has a lot of money? - no - when the cult leader says something - everyone obeys. Many cult members a sacrificing their lives - because their leader has told them to.

Yeah someone who says that he uses tricks to get his effects is obviously lying, he has to use psychic stuff...
That you aren't able to understand his effects just shows that he is a good magician but it is no "strong evidence" that Derren is lying and is using psychic effects.

In the Silva Method, there is a tool called "subjective communication" which works along these lines. Of course, the Silva Method is not evil or anything like that -

in fact, it is a standard part of the course that all students are hypnotised (as part of a group hypnosis session) to accept that they will only use their powers for positive, beneficial purposes etc etc and that their powers will fail, if they try to use them to harm another person).

I have had the pleasure of working both, as a magician and later in life as a hypnotist. For me, Derren's Genius is that he took Slydini's approach to misdirection, amplified it, and became who he is today. Mind you, he does use hypnosis as some effects, but in general, he keeps stacking the deck in his favour. So even if it is the simplest of magic tricks (see pulse stopping in "something wicked this way comes) he sells it as if it were mind magic...indeed, he is magician, and a very good one at that. But don't look to him for psychic skills or fancy stuff like that...

if i come across someone who is sending me vibes like that though especially when they're trying to sell me something i usually get turned off right away.. probably because it isn't genuine. this feels like it can border on LoA though.. or am i just getting them confused?
