Stimulated Chakra's|Are these sensations okay/normal?

Hello all!
Well, I'll get straight to the point so, forgive me if I seem short. Whenever I visualize taking in energy at any part of my body- in this case, my feet and hands - I usually get sensations that I believe to be indicative of blockages or something of the like. Is this true? I apologize for the broad question but I sincerely hope someone can pass along some info regarding sensations while drawing energy. In addition to these sensations experienced while visualizing energy entering my body at various areas, I sometimes get these peculiar, yet subtle muscle spasms. For example, when visualizing red colored energy entering my hands at the point outlined in the picture below, my thumb may twitch or I'll feel significant throbbing sensations somewhere in whichever hand I'm working on.

I am learning to work with Reiki energy, and what you describe sounds like what happens when I place Reiki hands on someone or myself, There will be small twitches, or stomach gurgling (if this is where the hand is) also when I let Reiki flow through me to insects or birds I noticed that there wings flutter.
You seem to be drawing energy and this is your body's way telling you that it is recieving it.
If you are interested in Energy work for yourself, Level 0ne Reiki might be an excellent place to start. Hope that info helps.
As for blockages, I sense more of a blockage through feeling heat on an area, or tense muscles, or as a way in which a disease comes on. I think the twitches and spasms just mean your body id drawing in the eenrgy to that area.
