Dave, not too long ago, I posted in another forum an email that I received from a "lawyer" in Africa advising me that I had some relatives there who had been killed in an auto accident and all that I had to do to inherit 100 millions was to send him $10,000.

I posted it as a joke saying that I was so happy that I would be getting all that money...

For that, I got some nasty replies telling me that I was a "so and so" for not grieving for those people and just thinking about the money...

Never underestimate the stupidity of some people... they will amaze you...

PS- I never sent the $10,000...

You mean like empires(Commonwealth??) & states? Well there must be some order, but it should not be you who gives oath to protect superior in command(well it should) but giving oath to one another and to your self first..

Countries/empires were primary made to protect money/power of few(kings, priests and feuds & today of corrupt politicians & capitalists) and use sheep-like masses to protect the rulers against the same sheep-like masses by promising better life and always giving them living hell...

I think of those spam emails people get from various organisations asking for money. Not all of them are legitimate causes. However, these spammers wouldn't be working as hard as they do if gullible people weren't out there. Its true that each person learns at a different pace and each of us have different lessons we're supposed to learn.

To get shafted in some way during your lifetime can offer valuable lessons to teach you a lot about yourself. How many people take what they learn and package or otherwise share it? If you don't learn what you need to the first time, its likely you'll get shafted again by others until you do.

Because my email address is posted on my blog, spam-bots have detected it, and every day I get 10 or 20 emails from someone in Africa telling me I can have 1.6 million dollars if I just....

But I click delete before I finish reading the rest of the set-up. Life's too short.

That website is apparently a front website for a band (Music group). Click around, actually read it, and you'll find that 1) They aren't serious. 2) They're trying to make a political statement. 3) They provide you hidden links to their band website.

At my last job, I used to get emails all day long advertising Viagra and Cialis. I used to wonder what nitwit in the office had mischievously signed me up for that stuff.
