Over the past couple weeks I've been experiencing visions about myself being injured and even killed in various accidents/attacks. I've experienced visions like this in the past but they've been happening as much as 6 times a day over the past couple weeks. I had two while I was running last night, in one a red Cadillac with tinted windows pulled up next to me and I looked over to see the barrel of a gun pointed at me through the back window and I was shot to death. It couldn't have been more than 15 minutes later where I had another vision of an SUV swerving head on towards me and running me over. Now normally I would just shrug something like this off, but I've been having these visions so frequently that I'm kind of worried. I believe that you attract what you think about and if I'm having all these visions of death...well... I consider myself an optimistic person so this isn't really in line with the thoughts that are normally coming to mind. What do these visions mean? Can I stop them?? If so how? Is there some trigger in my life that could be causing them? How can I eliminate it? |

Stop giving them attention. I hate to be a mystique-killer, but they are more likely the result of unresolved emotional experiences than premonitions of your untimely demise. There are certainly many possibilities, but you have to ask why you would have paranormal visions of such dark things. It's hard to come up with a good reason. The thing to remember is that most unresolved emotional issues remain completely obscured from our own view, but they manifest in external ways -- dreams, acting out, psychological projection, etc. Since intuitive states are so deeply connected to our emotions, these sorts of things will sometimes poke their heads out when we find ourselves in intuitively receptive states, though they may have nothing at all to do with the intuitive content itself, or may be a device of the intuition -- possibly a message that it's time to start working through those issues in order to open up more to intuition. Whatever it is, there's a neat process you can use to help understand it better. Get three pieces of paper and a pen and set aside about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time. You're going to write for 8-10 minutes on each page. On the first, write about the visions and images -- how they made you feel, etc. On the second engage in a dialog with them as though they were sentient, had motivation and could respond. Tell or ask whatever you want to say and let them respond. On the third, take the perspective of the magically sentient images and visions and speak to yourself through their voice. Then take a few minutes and read them, recognizing that all of these are your own voice. Chances are you will find something interesting, whether intuitive, emotional or both.

I'm not familiar with the abbreviation EFT (unless you're talking about electronic funds transfer, in which case you would need to elaborate... | |

I would think of happy thoughts, a totatlly different subject. Just think of things that make you happy. My mom told me that's what she used to do. She didn't have visions like you, but she got feelings. This one time she said we were driving down the road and she kept thinking that a semi truck was going to run into us, so she was thinking of ways she would turn off the road so she wouldn't hit anyone. Sure enough...A semi truck came right at us, my mom got out of the way. Car behind us wasn't so lucky....I was still in her whom when this happened. Ever since then when she get's those feelings she thinks happy thoughts. I do the same, at times.

I have also had some visions of that sort, mine are not nearly as frequent but I know exactly what you are talking about. The majority of my visions happen to be in a plane crash, I have even had a few dreams recently exactly like my visions. I never used to be afraid of airplanes but now I am. The thing that scares me the most about these visions is that lately I have picked up some psichic abilities, and I know these psichic thoughts are real becuase the huge majority of the time, the thing I was thinking about actually happens. So now I am scared to death of airplanes. I am working on my fear and so far I have managed to get rid of some of it. Have you suffered from depression or anything like that? Keep workin on it im sure you will come through fine.

I've been plagued with these "visions" since childhood, and when I began to learn about the LOA, I became concerned I was attracting my own demise. But what has helped me, is to just brush them off and not pay them any attention. Don't think of it even being a possibility of actually happening, it's just a temporary flash that will never affect you. It's all in how you look at it. If you think it's a big deal, you make it a big deal. I've found that these are usually triggered through stress or feelings of being overwhelmed, unsure, or vulnerable. BTW, I've probably had at least one nasty thought a day for over twenty years, but I've never run in to any real life peril. |

Of course I'm biased because I'm a big fan of Andy Martin I would try Andys technique, and probably EFT also. Even just sitting still and asking the "visions" what they want to tell you can work. I'll get little flashes, like a word. Then I just sit with that word in mind, and it usually has a story from my past to show me, feelings left unresolved...that I can then process if I choose to. I believe that anything that you perceive "out there" that brings up feelings in you, is old stuff needing completion. Hope some of this helps you come to closure and peace of mind with whatever you're dealing with. Pam |

I have had an occasional morbid dream in regards to my son ( never my daughters), however my son tends to live life in the fast lane (so to speak), he also has lived a life style with good reason to be concerned so those dreams I have had make logical sense are you concerned or worried about anything in your life at present? anything that would sabotage your goals or dreams, or any anxiety which has maybe just run wild in your sleep? |
