Red face Am I Seeing Things??

When I was little, I used to get distracted a lot. I would get in trouble often at field trips or girl scouts-- because eveyone would walk off, not noticing that I was still staring at that tree. lol I guess I kinda still stare at trees, but I don't get in as much trouble for it now...

I had a million "imaginary" friends, and spent much time in my own world, looking off into space, just basically in my head.... Well, when I was four we moved into this house in Florida and my parents decided to paint the walls yellow. Everything was yellow. Good Lord. Okay, not the point... but I remember staring at those yellow walls and always seeing little dots appear and then disappear. Sometimes they would be a sparkly white, sometimes blue. And the more I stared, the more things would gain my attention, like the point at which our eyes adjust to color and leave an imprint of the object you just took your eyes off... Funny thing is, the dots were never in my direct eye-line-- I always knew they were there and was positive of their presence, but they seemed to enjoy the perreferial view moreso than straight on. I told my parents about this, and they took me to get glasses, writing it off as eye problems. Turned out I had astigmatizm (k, I don't know the spelling for that word-- or grammar it should be used in... just know it affects my sight somehow ). And the dots slowly started disappearing. It seemed that the more I talked about it, the more they ceased to be.

Around my 13th birthday, we put wall paper up and I got away from the "wierd girl who just stares" and all of the sparkling dots kind of subsided for good. Until, that is around 2 months ago.

They seem to have come back with even more of a force and I really don't believe it has anything to do with eyesight, because my eyesight hasn't changed at all since I've gotten glasses. My prescription literally has stayed exactly the same.

Has anyone else ever experienced these little sparkles and/or does anyone have any suggestions to what they are?

lol or am I just crazy and seeing things??

Oh and I should also mention that around 2 months ago (around the time of these things reappearing), I started getting reconnected and meditating on a regular basis really for the first time

Default Angel lights

Hi Mimusisj,

I read in one of Doreen Virtue's books that seeing different coloured sparkling lights means that you are in the presence of an angel.

I also see sparkling bright coloured lights - white, blue and pink. They are not often in my direct eyeshot and can flash for a moment and then disappear before I get the chance to look at them directly. I believe (and like to think) that the lights can be attributed to this since I did ask for the protection of angels some time ago and never saw them (or at least never noticed them) prior to this. Apart from that, they do not bother me.

thanks!! yeah, i always had a feeling that it was more than just me seeing things-- and recently pink ones have come around as well-- just not quite as often, so i didn't really think of mentioning it...

it's nice to hear of someone else who sees them... I was beginning to think I was nuts

Instead of it being something you should worry about, you could consider it a blessing. I often see a bright light when I'm in distress or worried about something. I love it when this happens because it reminds me that I am not alone. I tend to see them also when I am very happy about something, which is also nice because it feels like I'm not the only one enjoying my happiness/success. Either that or I have some sort of vision problem haha I don't think so though..it gives me a warm feeling.

Thumbs up

As I read your message I felt my mouth turn up to a smile, first things that popped into my mind was Angels and Fairies.

I'm not sure I agree. When I zone out, I often see electric blue dots, sometimes they're orange, sometimes purple, sometimes green, lots of different colours. By adjusting my concentration I can see more of them, and in greater intensity, and I can change the colour at will. It doesn't necessarily mean there's angels there.

I think it depends on your beliefs. If you don't believe angels exist, then there's no way you're going to think the bright lights you're seeing could be angel lights. You're probably going to think there's something weird going on with your eyes. I personally believe in 'angels'. I don't know what they are exactly or what form they take, but I believe in them because I have felt their presence and I have felt that it is good.

Before assuming anything; I would go to an eye doctor.

If after you have been to an eye doctor and all checks out, then reapproach your theory of these lights being that of angels and entities. These lights most definently do exist though so I'm not debunking what you are stating. Since you have previous record of having eyesite problems, you could have something new cropping up and you don't want to ignore it.

We'll all hope you're only seeing angels though!

thanks you all!

oh, and CFPurpose, thanks-- I actually had an eye exam about a month ago, about a month or so after (I am bad with timing but I know it was after ) they started appearing again. My eyesight isn't really all that bad, it's just the Astigmatizm that needs a little readjusting.

thanks again, I will keep all of this in mind!!

Whatever you believe is fine by me, I'm not going to tell you I'm right, you're wrong - you know the "you are allowed to have your own opinion, just as long as it agrees with mine".

I only know what has happened to me, since learning some of the many Angels can manifest, I have been seeing more and more flashes of coloured lights. Each Angel has their own colour. I most often see blue, usually a small spot along side of me but recently it was larger and right in front of me while I was driving. I saw it against a white car and kept seeing it. I just said out loud "OK I can see you", I didn't want to be distracted while driving and it immediately disappeared. I have also recently seen yellow, red and green.

I learn something today from your post - I always thought it was 2 words, A stigmatism, but no it's Astigmatism (or Astigmatizm depends on where you are from) - you were right, I was wrong .

Now I liked this comment. I have only seen green and white. I saw green constantly as a child. My son now sees them. There's one in particular white light that bounces around my house on "active nights." I've also seen the white ones on occasion here at work and misc places. I don't see them all the time though. I've wondered what the lights were because as they do not offer the same presence as most entities, they are quite peaceful to see and I've never felt any sort of threatening feeling being associated. I've engaged in lengthy forum conversations over these lights. There are so many interesting opinions associated with them. Angels have resonated most in my opinion as well as the crossing of energy and how one happens to view it at a particular moment. I wonder what connotations each light deciphers..... I'm sure we all know the real answer deep inside and have forgot it while incarnated here and that’s why we look to answer the riddles.

See ya around.

Seeing purple, blue and white lights is familiar to me. I used to see them when I was young too. I'm clairvoyant and do readings now. When I'm busy and spirit want to attract my attention, they flash all over the place.

So Lally, when these lights get your attention, what is your next step?

Hi CFPurpose,
My next step is dependent on the situation. Sometimes the flashes of light are confirmation of something being said in a conversation and therefore indicators that I'm on the right track. Other times, if I exercise wisdom, I take the time to enter the gaps and ask why they're seeking my attention. When I don't do this, something inevidably happens and I'll being be going 'darn, that's what they were trying to tell me.'

It often happens when I'm doing readings and my client is disputing something I've said. I go to check that I've recieved the information correctly and get a big flash of confirmation. In these situations I say, 'I'll leave this with you.'

When I first started doing readings, if I miss interpreted something or used the wrong words, communication with spirit would freeze then they'd flash me until I rewound and said it right. They would show me the image again or repeat the words until I they were satified I'd conveyed the information correctly. My guides have always been been hard task masters which has created ongoing trust and respect.

That is so interesting Lally. Thank you very much for sharing that with me and the others on this forum. I'll have to pay more attention when I see the lights next time and go from there. Looks like you've opened another learning/observation opportunity for me.

Thanks for the information.

I see the lights differently to each other depending on the colour. The white ones sparkle and spray out a series of small flashes. The blue ones are spots the size of tennis balls and the purple ones will explode on the wall from a small spot to a big blob that sometimes runs down the wall. My youngest daughter often sees gold orbs hanging in her bedroom at night. They usually precede a download of information or spiritual knowledge that she can sometimes recall in the form of symbolic dreams. Other times the information just comes through her in conversation.

My perception is that the colours represent the frequency the energy vibrates at. They are different from the colours conveyed in an aura. Just from observing the energy over the years I found that everyday aura colours that you can see on someone in passing or conversation, most often represent their physical energy state. For instance a green haze around someone's chest or throat can show congestion in this area. A grey fog around their head represents worried thinking and yellow flashes around the head mean 'shut up' because they want to ask a question.

The colours take on a different meaning when someone is meditating or channelling. Their whole body and aura can flood with a colour just before they transfigure giving the first sign that an new energy has entered their energy field. Depending on the level of meditation this energy can be a guide or someone who has passed over. The more light, vivid, and vibrant, the colours, the higher the frequency of energy.

Everyone, thank you so much for further confirming what I believed I was (and still am, of course) experiencing. Like I said at the top of the conversation, it wasn't until recently that I again started seeing these lights. No, the lights have never scared me-- I suppose it's just being human that can make me and others around me second-guess and write it off as nothing more than eye problems...

Funny how I've always experienced getting what I call "confirmation goosebumps", in which whenever me or a person I am conversing with does, feels, or says something that is pure truth, I get goosebumps. But I never questioned those- perhaps because goosebumps are something other people can see as well.

Gotta see it to believe it sort of thing, I guess.... But it's just nice to come to a place where people don't think I am out of my mind lol even though I am much of the time...

Now it's just a matter of learning what they want ME to know... whether it's "indicating I am on the right track", guiding me to make a "right" decision, or just simply offering comfort.

Default goosebumps

I get those goosebumps too, especially when being told of a paranormal experience - I know when the speaker is telling the truth about their experience. I was telling a friend of some of my experiences, she told me that she felt strange all over, she too mentioned goosebumps. I can also tell when a photo has anything paranormal in it, same with ghost hunting tv shows.

It's really great to know that I'm not alone in these experiences.

The white lights I see match your description. I've never seen the blue and the purple. I find your description of the purple lights to be very interesting. The green lights I saw and my son see's either fly around the room in whisps, or they can form large blobs of color in the air from small to the size of a person.

I was very interested and still am in what you said about Aura's. Aura's have not been something I naturally possess the ability to read however my son has the natural ability. I've always found it fascinating but not taken the time to try and learn. Well, I'm attending a "group" in my area full of others like me and one of the lessons we will be learning is aura's, how to see and read them. I'm looking forward to it. The information you just gave though added to how important these Aura's can really be and I didn't even realize the extent of it. Thanks again Lally.
