The answer lies in the fact that it's attempting to look at it from the scientific point of view. That point of view is just a method of interpreting the world around you into something you can understand and quantify and it is by no means always correct or accurate. Science is a system of beliefs much like any other. In other words the scientific mind is that way it is, because it's how that particular brain is wired.

Now try to get a classical music composed and a scientist to explain music. Their brains innate differences will become readily apparent. They literally see a different reality. So the Million dollar challenge is not provable to the Scientific mindset.


But on the flip side of the argument, I would pay him One million dollars to Scientifically, quantifiably demonstrate beyond a shadow of scientific possibility that it's none existent.

Because everyone should know, that science can prove things but it should be able disprove as well. This is one can't be proven or dis-proven either.

That's complete rubbish. It would be easy to verify psychic skills if they were true. In fact, if there are any real psychics out there, it's there duty to make their powers known. If 99% of people are muggles, who don't understand there's anything more to life than going to work 9-5, and there are real psychics out there, they have to let their powers be known. That way the rest of humanity would be forced to wake up, instead of living a lie. I'm sorry, if you're a true psychic, who can defy the laws of physics, you would look at everyone else, and know those same abilities lied deep inside them, and you would want them to know their true nature.

The problem is that even if someone would possess "psychokinesis" this does not seems to be "paranormal" or 'supernatural' ...
(unless if it is in the "Super" scale)

Even for the individuals tested under controlled situations , the verification of a cerebral activity of around 10x more than 'normal' is not beyond the expectation. In fact most things still are in the "Bell Curve" of probabilities.
Even 2-3 Sigma is not that hard to find ... 3.5 is still considered possible under scientific means.

electricity is a known form of energy.
once you understand how your brain sends and recieves impulses, you can use those impulses to your own desire and will.

simple body trick, however when you add a function to it with energy, you can increase it`s severeness, like immobilizing a person, or stimulating muscles to tighten better.

electricity is one of the harder energies to control since it has a fast movement, aswell as no directional control in the beginning.

physical is able to be manipulated by other dimensional factors then just wishfull thinking or measuring something.
scientific and energy is quite a good match once both sides decide on not trying to make a point, but utillizing both it`s strengths and filtering out eachothers weaknesses.
