Blue flashes of light

ok so not to bring back such a dead subject..but I got my answer. The flash of light I saw was..don't laugh. But energy coming and going..like..through my reality if that makes sense. An intuitive and friend did a reading on me, and said the energy showed itself to me, to let me know..I AM growing and expanding, coming into a new level of consciousness, I guess you could say I was shown..something physical I could understand and SEE rather than only feel, or believe. well hopes this helps, I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone who sees the flashes..but it was for me.

I have this too. Blue flashes or eggs and sometimes purple or indigo ones too. I get them both when my eyes are opened and when my eyes are closed, like at night when I'm going to sleep.

I've always seen a golden spark when I am lying in bed at night meditating. It happened shortly after my grandfather passed away, so as a child I assumed it was just his way of signaling me to let me know he was watching over me.

Now that I am in my mid-20's, I have been seeing different colored sparks since I've moved into my new apartment. They are red, white, and gold. Every once and a while I'll see a blue-black fuzzy one.

I was wondering if anyone had any input on what the different colors might mean? My apartment has a rather sordid history, so I am wondering if they are 'spiritual leftovers' of others here before me.

Any hints? Thanks a million!

I also experience that phenomenon but they're rare for me. They're like some sort of abnormalities in my sight already but it happens rarely.

Thanks for reviving this thread Orange Lady! I'll add that I too have been seeing sparks and blue lights in the last 4 months. My psychic awareness has grown substantially and quite unexpectedly during this time as well. I wasn't sure what was going on so reading this and knowing others are having similar experiences is nice.

Do and of you know if there is any meaning behind the different colors? I'm not seeing blue sparks, persay, but rather red, gold, and white ones. And all at the same time. (Okay, so maybe I am a bit loony! )

I like many of you have joined this forum because of the same thing we all have in common. I just got to a point the other day when I though, OK enough is enough, there must be other people out there who are experiencing the same thing, and I am comforted to see that I am not alone. I am convinced that the phenomenon is of spiritual nature or relates to dimensions that are beyond the normal visionary experience that most can relate to. After describing this forum to a very close friend of mine on saturday night, she mentioned that she started having this same experience very shortly after her dad passed away a couple of years ago. Yes.. another person. I am not alone. The reason why I think that this is of spiritual significance is because it seams that the people that share this experience also have a strong interest in spiritual matters...Like my friend on saturday night, that is all we talk about - not much of a surprise that she could see them as well.
I started seeing these sparks about 12 years ago. I see blue, sometimes white and very rarely red. Many years ago when this started happening, I also saw blue threads.
I have this strong belief that these threads are universal energy channels that join people in common together, the stronger the connection to another, the stronger the thread. I believe we are all like blue balls of light. When we communicate, we stare into one. I am a keen scientist and I see things in terms of physics because energy is a principle of physics...there we go another flash.
Another interesting thing I have to add is that a number of years ago, I remember driving to the west coast of Tasmania at night and I saw a blue thread along the road in the path I was travelling. I was amazed to think that these pathways are channels that also connect other drivers. Almost like universal consciousness. How helpful could these be in conveying important information not only between humans but other animals that migrate in a pathway.
Sorry about the information overload guys. But I had one more thing to add...I read this book by Judith Collins on the human aura and she mentioned that musicians emanate blue sparks of light when they are releasing energy. I have not seen this but a friend of mine saw sparks of light coming from me one night when I ripped into a guitar solo in front of a large audience! What a feeling it was on stage though!

I am really keen to hear about other peoples views on these things. I am fascinated by everyone else’s stories and perspectives! Love to all!

It's very common to experience white/blue/purple flashes of light, this is seeing your own spiritual energy around you. The sparkles are also your spirit guides around you.

Blue is Archangel Michael, giving your courage and protection.

The purple is to do with your third eye chakra, awakening your clairvoyance, and also is all about spiritual learning and wisdom.

Very powerful colours, but hold a very healing vibration to them aswell.

I have been experiencing these sparks of light, mostly blue or white for the past few months. I have also started noticing moving shadows (not distinct figures) out of the corner of my eye. An intuitive reader told me this was because I was increasing my psychic awareness and that it will happen more often. Funny thing was I didn't even tell her that was happening. I just thought I needed to get my eyes checked soon.

For those who have said that the blue spark might be Archangel Michael - that is very neat to hear. I have recently been praying to him after listening to Sonia Choquette's Ask Your Guides cds. It was very comforting to learn about angels. She encourages readers/listeners not to take her word for it but to try some of the exercises she recommends for a month and then see what happens.

I joined the forum because I found this thread on Google. I see blue flashes too. It started a few months ago around the time that I had a strange meditation experience. I was meditating and decided to bring my vibration really high. I was feeling great. I started counting each breath and said to myself that I would have a much higher vibration when I got to 10. It felt great. I said "ten" and suddenly I was looking at my body from a couple of feet away, and I saw a blue flame (like a gas flame) shoot out of my head. Then suddenly I felt so ill. I felt heavy like I had a lead blanket on my body. I had an instant headache, and felt feverish and panicked. I didn't know what to do (I'm fairly new to all of this), so I said, "I love God" and got up and left the room. (LOL, I had no idea what was going on.) I felt sick for a few days, and every electronic thing I had went crazy or would stop working. This went on for a few months. I was returning stuff left and right! I was afraid to meditate for a while. (Now I know I just wasn't prepared for the change. It wasn't necessarily a bad spirit or anything.)

Anyway, not long after, I started seeing a blue spark in my vision. They come throughout the day and are bright electric blue. I only see one at a time. Sometimes it's 2 or 3 a day and sometimes it's more like 20. I told my doctor and she felt I should get checked in case it was a retinal tear. I saw my eye doc and my eyes are fine. I am considering getting an MRI done just to be safe - but I tend to believe that the blue flame I saw had something to do with these sparks showing up. Also, my psychic abilities have heightened, and I also seem to be more wise about things... like knowledge is downloaded into me. I seem to be able to counsel people really well. I'm even considering volunteering for hospice - something I never imagined doing.

Another thing is that I had 4 out of body experiences that showed me my own spiritual awakening - before the flame incident. I was in a different dimension and saw all sorts of 5th or 6th dimensional sacred geometry (platonic solids in movement), and the all-seeing eye (infinite numbers of them) and more. I never knew what sacred geometry was before the experience. I think this experience also ties in somehow.

Anyway, that's my story. I'm enjoying this thread!

first post and this thread is the reason i came here. I have seen our beloved blue flashes, brilliant gem blue , most my adult life .

Interstingly enough enough i have been around Archangel Mikael for many years as well so the linkage is rather intersting for me.

Of late i am also starting to see flashes of white, almost translucent as well as tiny specks or flecks of gold, although this are fleeting. After some time i have learnt to be able to maintain seeing the blue flashes , using peripheral vision , for longer and longer (perhaps 3 secs)

Well I came here just like everyone, wondering what it was. I was walking and saw behind me some blue/white flash. Thought it was my eyes that made it up, and then hours later. I small dot spark in the carpet, and disappears. I than see another one while taking a shower, but it was golden instead. Never had this happen to me, so glad that others have had the same experience.

I just wanted to add that I just had an MRI with contrast dye 3 days ago to rule out any brain problems (i.e. pituitary tumor pushing on optic nerve, etc.) and it was totally normal. (An earlier eye test was normal as well.) I'm feeling more confident that my blue sparks are spiritual in nature.

I've always thought this was normal. I see colors not only of blue and purple and white but of yellow, pink, red, and orange. A lot of the time I see green as well. It wasn't until recently I told my mother that the colors were annoying me during my class. They are very distracting sometimes. She looked at me funny and immediately made an appointment with my eye doctor and some other doctors and they found nothing. One doctor said it's because of the contacts I wear but that doesn't explain why I still see the colors and flashes when I take my contacts out. I thought everyone had this and that it was a normal, everyday, thing. I guess it's not. Does anyone else see more than just purple, white, and blue? At first I thought it might be auras and I still think that it may be, but there's also the fact that sometimes I just see them floating around. Again, I've always thought this was normal...

I do believe that an eye doctor would check on that if you mentioned it to him. That was the experience of a friend of mine.

I prefer to think that it's because I 've been doing a lot of spiritual work lately.

hmmm, this is a bit of a coincidence lol,
for about the last 12 months i have embarked on learning the Golden Dawn system of magic, and have regularly been practising the qabalistic cross and lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram, to purify my thought paterns and mental state before embarking on the middle pillar exercise.

Over the last month i have been seeing a small ball of very vibrant blue light, i have seen it around 20 times now, it is not a flash, it is constant as long as i do not bring my focus or attention to it, i have seen it outside about 5 foot away from me and also in the house whilst reading and watching TV, it is about an inch in diameter, vibrant blue with a bright purple centre, almost as though there is a bright bulb inside it.

i am quite currious about what this may be, one thing i have noticed is that when i do see it, i get a sort of sense of happiness and usually find myself smiling after seeing it it is definately not a flash it usually hangs around for about 10- 20 seconds as long as i dont focus directly on it, anyway i am going to a spiritualist fair in the morning and will ask there to see what explinations people can give me

I found this forum and joined because I just recently experienced several blue flashes of light and was trying to find some answers as to what they might be. I have never been involved in any paranormal or psychic interests, but have never discounted the possibilities either.

My husband and I are living in MD, renting an apartment on a farm, in a new farm house with the original owners. We've been here since November, now it is March, and have had no odd incidents. The other night, as we were laying down for bed, I was lying still relaxing and thinking over the day and suddenly saw a very bright blue flash of light (tiny, almost like a spark) on the other side of the dark bedroom. I sat up and asked my husband if he saw it. He didn't, but immediately got out of bed and readjusted our blinds in case it was a reflection from traffic outside. He lay back down, I did the same and I saw the reflection of another bright flash just outside the bedroom doorway. Rinse repeat, this time he unplugged his blue tooth on the table outside of our bedroom in case that might be the culprit. He turned to come back through the bedroom doorway, walked to the side of the bed (back still to doorway) and I clearly saw a reflection of another flash of blue light from the adjoining stairway at our bedroom doorway.

He went back out of the room, turned on the hallway light, looked down the stairway, turned the light out, stood very still in the dark, finally came back to bed, we still had no clue what had happened.

We haven't seen anything since, and as I said, I've never had any involvement or interest in paranormal or psychic issues - so seeing the mentions of Michael et cetera have no meaning for me. If you guys would be kind enough to point me to reliable information sources to continue my research, I would be grateful.

I have experienced this. A few years ago, in the evening, there was a huge flash of blue light in my living room. A couple of seconds later, it happened again: a huge blue flash of light. I went to the doorway to see what might be causing it. The tv (which was turned off) was now turned on for some reason. I looked around the room for a second, and then saw the "orb". It was about the size of a basket ball, and just a couple feet from the ceiling. It "stood" still (but had a lot of "energy" inside it.) After about 20 seconds of me just staring at it kind of confused, it "shot" down into my kitchen in like a second. When it did this, it did it as a smaller "beam" of light instead of the round orb. When it got to my kitchen, it was just like a mass of misty blue engery-filled light moving around (best description I can come up with.) It went from my floor to about 3 feet up and maybe 2 feet across. After staring at this in my confused state for about 5 seconds, I went to get my husband from the dining room. When we got back to the kitchen, it was gone.

Two months later, I was upstairs in my bedroom, and seen the bright blue flash of light in my hallway.

I haven't witnessed it since, and don't know if I will. There have been a few other experiences, but those are the only two involving bright blue flashing light.

I appreciate someone bumping this thread because I have recently begun to see blue lights in my vision.

I know it's not in the room with me. It's definitely in my "vision center" of my brain or just in my eye. But if I could put a relative size on these dots I would say that they would be pea-sized to chick-pea sized. My recent eye exam was normal.

They aren't "flashes" but a transparent dot of the most beautiful periwinkle/indigo/cobalt blue. They feel peaceful and joyful. I have no feelings of dread or alarm when I see one and they last about ten seconds at the most. Sometimes I get more than one at a time. But rarely. Maybe once or twice a week.

I have a high number of floaters and they are nothing like that.

I have been seeing these eletric blue/white flashes for the past week. I usually see them suspended in my peripheral vision and then I look at it for a few seconds then it flashes like a teenie tiny camera flash but the light is so intense that I feel my eye dialate much as if someone took a picture too close. I am stunned that no one else seems to notice this. I found this thread and one somewhere else and read to go to the eye doctor for fear of retina detachment. Well I'm back and doc says my eyes are as good as it gets. So now I'm here with dilated eyes happy that I ruled that out. I have been growing spiritually lately and am happy to hear some of the explanations above. I have been praying for my abilities to develop more before I saw the flashes. I will be attending meditation classes and hope to discover my next step to my spiritual development. BTW I am totally sure I am not going crazy...never did drugs..etc etc, they are not floaters these flashes make my eyes dialate. By the way I am so happy to have discovered this forum and I look forward to gettg to know each of you.

As a Christian, I reject any non-Biblical information regarding "blue light flashes". My wife and I have experienced this on several occasions. Every time we saw these flashes, about 4 am, it was impossible for it to be car headlights or flashlight sources. I will say also, that it happened on the heels of my father's death.

Does anyone here have a possible explanation for this? Also, this happened at two different locations.
