Where are the majority of forum members going next?
 

There should be a thread where all those wishing to go to different forums list it here. I would like to go to another forum where the majority of the SP forum posters here will hang out. It gets a little crazy with everyone posting their favorite forum and in turn we have too many to choose from.

So where is everybody going?

I'd wager the majority will end up at PD4U, as so many there are from here, and because they were always so popular.

I, myself, am more geared toward spiritual development than personal development, so that's where you'll likely find me. :)

I am more interested in the Spiritual/ Psychic side than PD. I would also like to keep up with some regular posters here, like you, AP, and Tom. I go to Spiritual Forums (see my other thread), but haven't gone there as often since I found this one. But it does encompass many topics which interest me.

There is a subforum that has "angels and guides", that would be a great place to post about angels.


I also might join the PDFU forum, I want to keep up with everyone here, so I will probably be there, but I still have not made any final decisions.

I'm going to Hawaii next month after CSW. To punish myself for closing the forums, I'll walk on hot sand barefoot. Also doing some whale watching.

For social networking I'm going to walk up and talk to people in person.

sounds like torture :p

For myself, i'm not joining any forums (well i did join halfpast to stay in touch with some members here).

I think i'll just be going back to basics, taking my son to playgroups, more walks around the neighbourhood.

I was sad yesterday, but today i am relieved that the forums are closing :eek: onto new adventures! I feel excited for reasons i can't put my finger on just yet :)

Steve changed 'his name' to Savage. Steve stated in an earlier thread (speaking to ALGD) that he rarely paid attention to anyone using a 'handle'
instead of their real name. So...

Is it possible that Savage is doing all of this without Steve P's Knowledge?

that was a unique feature of pdsp forums - you could get personal forums or spiritual forums.

I have always wondered how personal development fits into spiritual things, and thought they shouldn't be that different. Although personal development seems to build sense of self (?) and ultimately spiritual ways drop the sense of self - or find the true self (whatever that is) haha

oh as to the topic - I'm taking this forum shutdown as a hint to see how to pay attention to my away from keyboard relationships so I don't have a forum to post.

I will indeed miss some of those. I got quite a few belly aches while reading some threads, like Wax Frog's AJBMA thread (or, whatever it was). One Word Posts was really fun for a while. In the end, I don't think laughing (save at the expense of another) is inherently selfish.

no doubt!!! I just started being in some threads there and was finding that humor is a really good medicine!

I was surprised how lone the One Word Posts kept going. Like royster said to me once - it takes intelligence to have a good sense of humor.

I was on there a bit. and quickly got slammed for talking about spiritual stuff and being as on what authority I could make the posts I was making, like I needed to prove I was spiritual or had the great "knowing" non ego transcendent life. hahhaa!

I'm (still) here: Astral Dynamics Down-Under Community

Have been there for many years. It'll be pretty much my only forum now, because I'm really not interested in joining any more online communities.

By the way, don't let the name fool you. There's a lot more spirituality stuff going on there than just the astral projection stuff. I've been a member there since 2007, and I think I've only talked about the topic of astral projection half a dozen times or so (out of thousands of posts).

It's a small forum, fairly intimate, but it might suit some of you. You're welcome to check it out, anyway. :)
