Thanks for the heads up. Wouldn't have found out about that thread if not for the direct title of your thread here.

Steve has been talking about closing down the forums before. Maybe this is a manifestation of his desire to do just that. It's like the universe is giving him a wink and saying "Here, let me even give you a really good reason along with that."

I know it might be annoying that I'm bringing LoA into this, but why not? If we all believe in manifesting success, we should believe in manifesting failure too. We should hold ourselves accountable for all the bad things that "others" do to us. We are responsible for 100% of our lives, which means that Steve attracted this event into his life, if unconsciously.

(Or for those who follow subjective reality, you and me have attracted it.)

Just because there's a separate board for IM doesn't mean that it doesn't affect what goes on in the "real" boards, the "real" life.

Back to subject: the forum archives will remain, so all the valuable info that's been accumulated will still be accessible. That's the most important thing to me.

Really ? Why I just got here ! Wow I had been reading Steve's blogs for a while now.
But I just recently joined the forums and I love it here!

I will be sad if he does shut them down..I hope he keep this place open

Angela, a long time member who brought great value to these forums. She wasn't posting as often lately so that is why you didn't know her.

It looks like that he is looking for reasons to shut it down anyway.

Just in case, maybe someone will have an alternative handy replacing this category?:p

let him close it down then.
if he's looking for a reason to close it down , why wait for a reason.
Bugs me when people do that ... close it down.

That thread was in a part of the forum not ever one goes to . I am hoping Steve keeps it open or gets some one else to run it . If Steve does shut it down , there are other forums . I would think he would give some advance warning . desert rat

But why would he ever do that, everyone loves these forums :(
But yes, there should certainly be a warning. Just cutting off people would be awful, there are people who would like to arrange meeting at other forums if these ones close down.

Could we at least find a new forum to look upon after the closing (if it does) of this one?

Yes, I'd also be interested in going to another forum similar to this area if this one closes down.

All right. Since people are asking, I've been a member for many years (and a moderator) here: Astral Dynamics Down-Under Community

Don't worry about the "astral" thing. If you're not into that there's a lot of other stuff of an esoteric and metaphysical nature. Energy work, psychic, paranormal, mysticism, dream interpretation, etc.

It's a pretty small forum, compared to this one, but please see if it suits you. There are a few other SDSP members there (other than myself), so you might spot one or two you know.

Oh, and I'll add that I used to have the link to that site in my signature, so I'm not doing anything underhanded by sharing it. :)

I really hope that it won't be necessary but I wrote it down just in case it actually happens.

Shutting Down the Forums

As you maybe have seen it coming, there is a shift in this place, meaning the days of the forums are counted.

How many are interested in creating a forum to talk about spirituality/psychic stuff and a bit more around that?
It's not an effort to create one, as far as I'm remembering.

I see the next years will become pretty interesting, so it can be a tremendous help if you find some like-minded people to talk and share.
These sections have been a source of inspiration and caring for every kind of issue.

You can cast here a vote so to speak, to let us see how many are interested in creating a cozy place. Feel free to share constructive comments.

I am not inside Steve's head and can not speek for him , and I do hope this forum stays up . If you read that thread, Steve says its costing him a lot of money for the computers and the band with . And he has other plans , so who knows . desert rat

Steve is moving on in his life ,he said he will punish him self for shutting down this forum by whale watching and walking on the beach in HI .
