Not just 'can' but 'does'. Further, anxiety has the unfortunate affect of creating "psychic hallucinations," convictions about things received through psychic channels that can seem stronger than regular psychic information. This is how people become convinced they're being attacked by demons/extra-terrestrials.

I dont know if it is anxiety I suffer from, I had something life shattering happen to me last year and I cant seem to get over it I even daydream about it happening again, just thinking about it I burst into tears, I think it may be emotional damage rather than anxiety, I definately am not being attacked by demons or aliens.

Well, psychic development is probably the last thing you should be concerning yourself with then.

Just take deep breaths, and take it day by day. It'll pass.

I am going to seek healing from god, I believe that is what I should do, I have spent all my life keeping him at arms length for one reason or another, but I think it is time to let him in my life and maybe the holy ghost can heal me.
