Sooo... I broke a mirror

This was a few months ago. I simply disposed it in the spare room which I am now clearing out to release some impacted energies.

I'm throwing stuff out, but hearing about breaking mirrors being bad luck I figured it be wise if I ask first for some suggestions of how to dispose of it. Would simply throwing it in the garbage be harmful?

As long as you wrap it up safely in bubble wrap or an old tea towel so the refuse workers do not cut their hands on it throwing it out in the garbage is fine.
The bad luck is to break it not how you dispose of it.

Depends how supersticious you are, if you believe that bad luck is coming your way then when something negative happens they automatically blame a broken mirror or a lone magpie they happen to see, superspecions can cause worry or even fear to some people, when life has its ups and downs, if we got rid of all mirrors, magpies, black cats e.t.c
People would still have bad and good things happen, it is part of the journey we call life.
