I had a very vivid/lucid dream about how I rode on a horse up a hill led by a flying golden orb to an altar. I stood in front of it with my arms raised sort of to surrender myself to my faith and then the light went out. It sort of made me wonder because it had been a very nice comforting light, why did it go out when I was clearly doing a good thing?
Seconds after I felt someone/something invisible grab me by the waist and I started to float slowly into the air towards the sky. It was dark but I didn't hesitate until I was at the hight where it would hurt a lot to fall down....

Then I started to think that if there was someone not so nice lifting me maybe I would be dropped soon... that didn't happen and when I soon would hit the clouds I started to wonder if I would leave my physical life behind if I got any higher , it is not the first time that has happened. Its been a few other times where I've been sucked up into the sky and i've always been struck with the idea that there would be no going back afterwards...

In this dream that thought made me shift into floating in my bedroom sealing and then I woke up, just to try again when I fell asleep but got attacked by something in the dream before I had a chance to get back up on that hill >.>

I havent found any dream dictionary where there would be an explanation for this kind of dream (only stuff about flying). From my experience dreams are best interpreted by the dreamer but I'd still like to hear if someone else have had similar dreams and what your thoughts are.

I've also had a dream where I was standing in front of a portal into space and I was told that if I dared to jump into it I would be taken away somewhere... I feel like I'm being offered to simply leave and go away at times >.>

I've had dreams of flying before similar to what you had, it's very common. Do a search on flying dreams, you find all sorts of information:

I have flying dreams , we all go of body an night , and only rember it as a dream , I think these flying dreams are from going out of body and floating around . desert rat

I have flying dreams too, I fly a lot at will. Why this made me wonder was because I wasn't "flying" someone/something lifted me up as if to carry me away :S
