if low level entities can move the ouiji board, they can move the pendulum and affect the outcome of a tarot card reading, move the table of table -tipping, and fortune cookies. Why is everyone only worried about the ouiji board and not other divinations? i heard that our guides really want to communicate with us. They get excited when we listen. They find the easiest way to communicate with us. Why not use the ouiji board if they want to communicate with us clearly? They can spell out everything and we can see it clearly; instead of us constantly guessing: I think it's my ego talkig ... no I think it's my intuition..... it's really confusing Last edited by hurfrd; 12-08-2011 at 12:21 AM. |

I think tarot cards are influnced by the subconscious mind . All the fortune cookies that I have scene are a few words printed on a little stripe inside a cookie you get after a Chinese meal . Before any one does any kind of divination it is a good idea to sround one self with white light , and kick out any thing bad . I think we can compare a quiji board to a car , if you know how to drive there is no problem , if not then you may wreck . desert rat

Other means of dividation realies soley on the readers psychic abilites and do not involve inviting or envoking spirits. Therefore, unless you knowlegable in how to use ouiji boards safely and know how to protect yourself then tarot e.t.c., is by far the safest option.

so it's just something that's been decided by the universe. The ouiji board invites spirits and our subconscious can't be the one that's move the planchette. tarot cards are influnced by the subconscious mind and so other spirits can't touch or move a certain card to make a certain outcome. you may argue your guides don't answer with the ouiji board because you have free will. how come you ask can a question in your mind/outloud and your guides answer with images / inner voices/ bodily sensitions, but why when you ask a question using a ouiji board, the guides don't answer and let the demons answer first? Asking questions without the ouiji board is asking a question; with the ouiji board is still asking questions so why not answer the easier and clearer way. Esp they are right next to us. they are always with us, right? Last edited by hurfrd; 12-09-2011 at 03:49 AM. |

From what I've heard, learning the alphabet is a very physical, earthly, socialized and political (as in, political geography-- not everybody uses the Latin alphabet,) concern. It's difficult enough for spirit guides to take a step away from abstract thought and emotion, into things that we can translate into a five-sense, 3 or 4 dimensional experience. Ghosts and earthbound spirits would know the alphabet well, however, and of course so would some of our subconscious. As others have pointed out, it doesn't matter what you divine with, but how. If the astral space around is clean, as well as your own mind and spirit. But I think people are most worried about the ouija board, because it shows up in paranormal horror movies. It doesn't take a lot of explaining. The messages are literally spelled out. On with the rest of the movie! Tarot cards can still be scary, because there are cards like the Death card or even The Devil card, those come up in movies and television at lot, and the significance of those cards are greatly misunderstood. To use the tarot for divination rather than just keeping them on the shelf because it has cute gummy bear cartoons on it, still carries some stigma of occult rather than spiritual. Fortune cookies are like magazine horoscopes-- no guides or entities can change the position of the planets, or change the type on the paper. And no publisher or restaurant owner wants to put customers off by saying anything bad. |

also, and to confound the cryptic-ness, if our guides are communicating in the language of symbols, well, then, it will take time for us to be able to "speak their language." but again, the point is that we have to work for it, we are supposed to work for it, and it is good for us... even if it is annoying. with this in mind, perhaps then, negative entities have a strong tendency to come through with ouiji boards because many people who use them are looking for the "shortcut." and, therefore, have not only just not done their homework, but they haven't even shown up to class. idk if that helps at all, but that's kind of how i see it.
