Crystals and Energy questions

Ok I have a few questions about crystals and the energy they give off and such...

1. Do all crystals give off a different energy, even ones that are the same type? I've noticed that my citrine gives off energy in short bursts of energy like a pulse, while my quartz just radiates energy, so I wondered if the other crystals are the same as well, and if other quartz would give off energy the same way.

2. Are crystals intelligent? As in can you talk to them and they respond back?

3. Do crystals have their own name? I've heard from a few sources that crystals are an entity as well with their own soul so to speak... So I wonder if they have their own name too...

5. is it ok to try to communicate with them? (the crystals)

The exact shape (and size) of a crystal affects its frequency (literally you can measure it with scientific instruments). Crystals of the same mineral have a similar energy signature (feel). So pretty much any single quartz will radiate in the same way. Usually minerals with similar chemical structure have similar feels but there are exceptions. So citrine, amethyst, rose quartz, smoky quartz are in general like the plain quartz. Also crystals of similar colors tend to be more alike than not.

I do not consider crystals to be intelligent. Be aware hat some people consider them (all things) to be conscious, while I agree in concept, the amount of consciousness is so low that most people cannot detect it.

Many rocks, especially crystals are responsive to energy. Most crystals are also very good at storing energy so you might be interacting with that too. This is the reason to energetically clear your crystals, especially true if used for healing because you don’t want on e persons sick energy to transfer. It is possible to ‘load’ a crystal with information. Interacting with one of these you can get the stored information . Some very sophisticated ones even seen to answer your questions, this is a preprogrammed response (from an intelligent being).

There also exist non-physical entities that can exist within a crystal. If you get one of those it will respond intelligently but it’s the creature, not the crystal.

To put this in perspective, the CPU in your computer is a silicon crystal with a few impurities on the surface. How intelligent does it seem to you?

In my opinion crystals only have names if given them. To me it’s similar to a colony of ants. Individual ants don’t have names but they do have roles. That does not stop you from making an ant farm and giving each a name.

Note that crystals used in ritual Magick are given names.

In general pretty safe but a few cautions:
-crystals are used in energy healing precisely because they affect your energy. Trying to communicate with a crystal is going to incur this effect. Be aware of this and stop if you feel unpleasant or uneasy feelings.
-similarly the energy stored in the crystal can transfer to you, crystals smaller than you fist do not hold enough energy to seriously damage you but there may still be a temporary positive boost or negative hit. Very large crystals (bigger than your head) can pack quite a wallop and literally knock you down. I suggest not touching them before trying to initiate contact at a distance to judge their energy content.
-obviously be careful handling crystals made of toxic materials (these are not generally found in metaphysical stores but are found in rock shops)
-its rare but possible to be allergic to the minerals that make up the crystal so you might get a rash if you touch it.
-extremely rare but here for completeness, there are some very advanced energy techniques that can be use to ‘attach’ a crystal to an external energy link (pipe). When you touch the crystal, energy from elsewhere can be put on you or more often drained from you.

wstein, that' s interesting. I am quite tuned to crystals and once just looking at crystals for sale on a facebook page I felt sick. When I mentioned it to a friend who knows this particular page she told me the owner of the page is sick.

Falseawakening, I do connect with crystals a lot but have never had a two ways conversation with them. I get to feel the type of energy they emit, and I can put a intention in them as I work with/on them (for example I'll ask them to work at their highest potential with the person who is going to wear them). They amplify what you put your focus on. Say, if you meditate holding one, you might get very interesting messages from your guides. So the crystal itself isn' t talking to you, but it " amplifies" your reception to your guides or angels doing so. I had quite a strong experience holding a larimar, and more recently holding a pietersite.

For the energy they emit, to me each and every crystal emits a different one, no matter if they are they same " family" . An amethyst is just a quartz with a high content of iron giving it its purple colour, but I have a phantom quartz that tingles, whilst my amethyst point pulses like a heartbeat.
