Guardian Angel name?

Hi everyone,
I'm most blessed to have recently learned the names of two of my spirit guides who are currently helping me out, as I understand, we have several spirit guides over our lifetime, one or two of whom is with us since birth and then we also have others who come into our lives specifically to help us on certain things.

I find its so much easier to communicate from my side when I have a name, I need to do more meditation to work on my ability to connect with them - although I "feel" the answers more often than not regardless of my mental state Now, the question I have is if many of you who communicate regularly with your Guardian Angel - have you received their name or not, and if so, how did you find out? Just curious :-)

Well, speaking from my own experience only - I've discovered that my Guardian will answer to the name I assign to it. Naming is more of a physical world activity than an energetic world activity, in my view. Naming is not necessary over there (moves away from oneness, unity, Oneself, completion into divisions and categories) but over here it can help some of us, and if our guardian wants to be helpful then it may answer to a name.

So I discovered the name by selecting it, I guess

Just ask for your guardian angels name and do it in a very relaxed manner. After you said "Guradian angel please tell me your name"... or whatever statement you wish to use, then just pay attention to what comes up in your thinking.

I did this myself once as I was on my computer, I just thought outloud, "I wish I knew my guardian angels name"... or something like that, and then without really paying attention the name "Cynthia" crossed my mind. It came to me very gently and in a very subtle way. I didn't think much of it at the time, but a few weeks later I spontaneously asked again and sure enough the name Cynthia was what came through, so since it happened twice, I just knew this was the right name and have used it ever since!

Thank you both for your responses! I wondered if names were sort of irrelevant once one got into the spiritual plane, yet I do feel that GAs also understand that we still are human and like that sense of personalization.

I did quiet my mind and asked..and got the name Anna, which has always been a favorite name of mine (coincidence?) ...but whenever I say the name, it "feels" right. So I'm going with it.

I am also picking up that my GA has a sense of humor too. She'd have to...watching my life. Its not exactly a Shakespearean tragedy.

I love finally feeling connected!
