OBE Experience

This morning I had an OBE that I would like to share. If anyone has shared a similar experience please share it with me. Any and all feedback is welcome.


First I would like to say that I have had very few OBE's. I have had many lucid dreams and sleep paralysis, but just a small amount of OBE's. Over the past couple of weeks I have started meditating again on a daily basis. I have been rather disconnected over the past few years. I let my busy life keep me from connecting. I have been determined to change that as of late.

In my OBE today I decided to ask to meet my guide. My first thought was say angel, not guide, but I said guide anyway. I have been focusing a lot on connecting with my angels more the past week, but I still want to meet my guide as well. I know some people think guides and angels are the same while others say they are not. I am unsure, I just wanted to meet someone!
I also want to add that when I have an OBE I sing everything I say, does anyone else do this? I am in no way a singer, but in my OBE's I sound rather lovely. I find this fascinating and strange. So as I am singing away that I would like to meet my guide this happens....

A very bright golden light starts coming down thru the ceiling. It is very powerful, I felt like I needed to shield my eyes, like you would from sunlight. The light takes up a rather large space in the room. In the middle of the light I see kind of like an outline of a human form but only from about the torso up. I see no clear facial definition. The feelings I start to have while seeing this are excitement, amazed, I felt like a young kid in awe of something. The energy that I felt from this being was, kind of serious, not threatening in anyway, but not a very playful nature. I felt completely safe, but there was no real emotional connection, no overwhelming sense of joy from me or him. I say him because the energy felt male, although I have no evidence of that other than the feeling. His energy felt very strong, almost powerful, like a father figure. I instinctively knew that this being was very wise. His energy kind of made me feel like a young child. It was a rather amazing experience. After all this sunk in, I wanted to ask his name, but as soon as I thought to do that. I blacked out and what seemed like a short time later I was back in my body awake. I woke up feeling great, very happy and like good things were coming my way and this means a lot because I have been in a funk the past couple of days. So, anyone have any thoughts on this? Opinions on if this was a guide or an angel?

Angels often refer to themselves as "golden light beings". The light you saw could have been an angel or perhaps a spirit guide or maybe even God for all I know. It's hard to tell, the thing to do is repeat your request as much as possible, use the same words, since you used guide, go with that. After a while if you don't get any response try using the the term guardian angel, that might present you with another type of visual in the OBE state.

You could also ask to have Archangel Michael come to you, or some other diety. Sooner or later you'll notice you might get better results with a particular name, I have no idea which one will work best for you.... just try as many as you feel inclined to try.

Also, now that I think of it, the angels can become your teachers in the OBE state and give you all sorts of help and tips on how to have better OBE's, and even adjust your energy field to make it easier to get out, they can really speed things up for you.

The way angels present themselves to us is probably so different for everyone, it's hard to say. In some instances they can be serious, but I'm sure there are just as many where they are more loving or at least less serious.

To make your OBE's last longer say an MBO before you begin for that, also ask your GA to help you with every little aspect of your OBE's.... plus make adjustments to your energy field to make OBE's much easier from start to finish. Make a list of all the things you think are giving you problems with OBE's... then do MBO's for them.
