Weird light flash in the sky far away?

I live in california, 30 min away from LA and the winds are blowing really hard, so I went outside to feel the air, I randomly stared at the sky but not up but like looking far away?, and then I see what appeares to be a flash in the sky, probably from lightning, but there are no clouds at all, very clear, and after that, a few seconds later, the wind starts blowing really hard....

When I went outside before I started staring at the sky, I thought of something about aliens, also I could hear as if an airplaine had gone by, like the air waves it goes thru and you hear the woosh!!!, but there was no airplane in site(I even got on top of my moms car, thank gosh she is asleep, and its 3am, or people would have stared at me) also the flash of white light in the sky only flashed like on a certain part that I saw, not the whole sky.....

isnt that weird XD, Its like the time(unrelated) when it started to hail and then around night time, there was pink, green, blue, purple, and white color lightning all around LA area, I still wonder why people dont remember, like I ask everyone and all they tell me is that im delusional, like my friends as well, like they say it did hail but they dont remember the part with the lightning.......now that I think about it, probably because it was on the news XD, but like seriously, I was around 4th grade, im supposed to be in my 13th year of school(I flunked 2nd grade, details around a post I had put...)

That storm that you got on wed. we(Phoenix) will get hear today , thu. if I see any weird stuff in the sky I will get pics and post them . I will assume there was no drugs involved , even the ones from a doctor . My first thought was some of that L.A. pollition , maby some of the chemicals mixed and made some perty colors . desert rat

if you where asking if I take drugs, I never take drugs, and u should see me when they are trying to force me to take the drugs from the doctor........

well when you put it that way, about the LA pollution then there a possability, lol I just remembered that LA in general has had weird weather for as long as I can remember......

lets see there was the colorful lightning, hail 2 times, since I was born, either water sprout or small tornado I think it was near a beach, snow in certain places that arent mountains, lots of random hot and cold days........I know the list goes on a bit more

Your experiences are very much like those i had a few years ago here in the Phoenix area.I drove to the highest point i could to watch the storms around the valley. I was amazed to see pink, blue, green, orange, purple and even red lightening.Another time i was on the deck i had built on the roof of my mobile shack. This deck was for the purpose of observing the night sky and while looking to the west toward Phoenix the sky over the whole area flashed on a typically clear night. No notice of it was made in the media.
I may as well mention other experiences on this little deck. An object tumbling down from high up trailing a very long green flame. Another time there was a Star Wars type of explosion in the sky where a smaller expanding ring of light is overtaken by a larger ring. This was witnessed by my son as well from a city park about a mile away. After these experiences i learned that you don't have to stare at the night sky all that long to see something surprising.
