Something I've noticed about sleep paralysis

When I'm awake I can always hear this sound. Its always there, wherever I am. You know when you put a sea shell up to your ear and you can hear a kind of hissing sound? Its like that but much quieter, more subtle and more electrical sounding. I'm sure plenty of you hear it too, its the sound of air or something, I don't know. Anyhow I notice that the second before I go into sleep paralysis this sound stops. It stops for a few milliseconds then starts up again. When I notice this I usually try to move and realise I'm already half paralysed by then. I get sleep paralysis all the time so I'm learning all sorts of interesting things about it.

That is the naad sound, which is used by yogis for meditation.

The skip you experience just at the time of sleep paralysis where it blanks out is due to the switch being made by the subtle body from being inter spaced into the physical system and then separating from it for astral projection
