Hello everyone, I was hoping you all could help me out in understanding some experiences I've been having. So, it wasn't up until recently that I started to connect sleep paralysis with astral projection. I started getting sp about a year ago, and the first time... Well, I completely went nuts. I was twelve at the time, and I raced downstairs to my parents room to sleep there. I experienced sp about three more times that night! It was a horrible experience, my body was vibrating madly and there was always a loud humming noise in my ear. The fact that I was/am a fan of horror (particularly exorcism movies) didn't help much. :P After that, I would get it about once a month. I would always resist it, though. About two months ago, I met someone who changed my views on a lot of things and told me about astral projection and whatnot. I was rather excited, and honestly felt rather lucky that I was getting sp naturally, unlike my friend, who couldn't, and still, can't seem to get to that stage. Any who, I don't know how to induce sp, other than sleeping on my back, which I rarely do. So, I just waited for the moment. The moment came yesterday. I woke up at about six or seven in the morning, way too early for a thirteen year old girl to be awake, and went to the bathroom. Then, I hauled my lazy self back into bed. About ten seconds after my head hit the pillow, after I closed my eyes, I felt the vibrations coming on. My head started spinning, and I tried to get up. Then I realized, it was finally happening. Honestly, I did resist it at first, but then I just sort of 'let it happen'. Nothing that I expected happened. I didn't lift out of my body... Or explode, for that matter. The noise and vibrations made it seem like I was about to. Instead, I saw these bright, neon green numbers that read 2:30. After that, they flickered and went to that... uh. You know, that television 'channel' one gets when it doesn't work? Looks like a bunch of ants? Yeah, I saw that. Then, slowly my vibrations faded, and the paralysis took a while to wear off. So. I'm left here thinking "W.T.F." Honestly, I'm kinda of worried that I'm going to, like, die at 2:30. I'm not sure. I was planning on going to meditate at 2:30, but I got caught up in a television program. Haha... Fail. Anywho. Any ideas? And, and suggestions on how to... actually leave my body? I'm not terribly good at expressing myself through words, so. Sorry if this is a little vague. Hehe, thank you. (: |
