"Static" when unstable LD/OBE

The past few times I've started a lucid dream or OBE and it's still unstable I get this distortion in my consciousness like static on a TV set. It's as if my consciousness is a broadcast and these altered states are mucking around with the signal. It's a feeling of being stuck between channels without control.

Anyone else get this?

Actually sometimes in the static there is code like an alien language. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I'm starting to wonder if The Matrix wasn't far off from the truth.

Which codes do you mean, were yours green and a bit like interwoven on a 2d-tablet?

Wow, I'm experiencing exactly the same thing, I think we are actually experiencing Enlightenment. I can shift from one consciousness to another only with my thoughts and I'm very confused and now I can't go back to the normal reality, this is very very strange, seems like the matrix though as you said.

Not sure what you mean by "interwoven on a 2d-tablet."

Was looking for something comparable and I think I found it. See the first 2 seconds of this video. Stephen Farris - "Inaudible" + "Seagulls" - YouTube It's that glitchy erratic static with all sorts of distorted colors, but with symbols in there as well that I've never seen before. The difference is that the static can get intense and take over my entire consciousness. Sometimes it also makes an uncomfortably loud static noise.

The link for the second picture didn't work for me before, now I see you have posted a picture illustrating the code from the Matrix movie. This was more or less what I meant, just that the 'real code' is more cohesive and has few common symbols in it. Like for example "7".

The analogy of the TV set is quite appropriate, technology mimics reality at some point. Metaphorically speaking you are adjusting your TV-antenna for the several programs you tune into.
You are shifting in your different energetic bodies and zapping into other planes of reality. It will become more clearer by time, have fun with it.
