Spirit guide? Angel? Spirit?

My infant son passed away 12 years ago. He was a month old and my first child. Naturally I was devastated. During this time I had many spiritual experiences. One of the most amazing happened to me one night in bed. I was awakened to great warmth and tingling sensations. Above me was a golden glow, it even kind of sparkled. I instantly felt comfort, warmth and love. I enjoyed the experience and easily went back to sleep after. My question is what was it? Was it an Angel,
a guide, my sons spirit? I feel and see many things but I have trouble knowing what it is. I don't ever seem to feel a connection or knowing of who or what it is. Anyone have any thoughts on this or similar experiences?

It sounds like your angels were comforting you. They often appear with bright lights and you will feel comfort and sensations such as you described. They are here to help you and all you have to do is ask them for help in anything and they will be more than happy to assist you.

I believe you are right about it being Angels. Do you know if there is a significance with Angels and the color gold?

...although with angels, a lot of times light beings are just seen as pure color or energy vibration. When I see my guardian, I see him as a being with human shape, long flowing hair, feathery wings and then he sort of gets filmy or indistinct below his knees. However, I have heard a lot of people say that they perceive their guardians just as pure energy. I will say this. My guardian told me that since he is set over (protecting) me, I chose the form I am most comfortable with and see him through that shape. From what I gather, the light beings or guardians are in essence really pure light and a shape is just a way for our mortal minds to comprehend them. Therefore you might be able to see the form clearer or more distinct if you happen upon this energy again and try to see a shape. You can always ask!

I don't claim to know all answers, but I can tell you with plain honesty what I have heard. Also, I don't know if this is your guardian, your son's spirit, or what. You can always ask that question too! I do know this: when a woman is pregnant she carries a "possibility" within her until her baby is born. Some people believe that the unborn "possibilities" and even the spirits of newborns who only lived a little while will hang around the home where mom lives. Sometimes, if the timing is right, they can inhabit a body once again. If not, they can "move on". Hopefully this helps.
