So last night I was lying in bed, and I think I was dreaming.
But then I was back in my room, and my whole body felt like it was vibrating.
I can't even really describe what it was like.
The vibrations were getting stronger, but then I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye, and got a bit startled, and the vibrations stopped.
After that my whole body was tingling.

Is this on the path to astral projection?? Or was it just a dream?

Looks like you projected, but didn't put your consciousness out with your projection. It takes some discipline to learn to do that. We naturally project when we sleep. If you're interested in learning, check out Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics.

I've experienced similar "vibrations" while sleeping in bed and a feeling of being pulled out of my body feet first and finally floating above it. It felt so scary at first and too real to be a dream but it was amazing.

I know exactly what you mean! It was crazy.

I still have to get over my fear of projecting, but hopefully that won't take long.

When I meditate my body sometimes seems to feel a little lights, almost as if it is floating but remaining in place ... is this simillar ? Anything I can do once I reach this point to help float out of body ? I've tried visualizing myself floating up but nothing really happens.

AP is in my opinion very real, and looks like you came close to having an exit.

I too had a spontaneous OBE, which is how I got interested in this whole spiritual subject

I had the same experience last night. The vibrations are real. I mean, it's not like when you meditate that you may feel a tickling in some parts of your body. Your body vibrates and you hear a buzzing in your ears.

Its interesting to find that others can describe the same vibrations i've felt. They were so strong I remember feeling like my body was vibrating into the bed and became increasingly rapid to the point I was no longer vibrating just a floating feeling.

Yeah exactly!
It was so exciting. I'll have to try and get it to happen again!

Anyone have any tips on how to increase the frequency of this happening?
