How to Open the Third Eye

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open the third eye so that I can expand my abilities? I do regular meditation and have also tried tai chi but I am feeling like there is something more to it. I have several closed Chakras and I know that to get the full control of my abilities I need to open these. Any suggestions?

One thing you can do to help your "closed chakras", is you can ask Archangel Raphael for help. Here's an invocation I've used several times before, I usually use it once a day, but it's really up to you to decide how many times a day you want to ask for help. Say this invocation outloud while you're sitting down or lying down, you should feel energy move through you:

"I am now asking Archangel Raphael and the angels of healing to please help me clear, align and energise my chakras....thank you" (say this 3 times).

To awaken the third-eye, you can ask many different archangels for help, I'll give you two right now, but there are others, say this invocation outloud, as you sit or lie down.

"I am now asking Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael to please help me awaken my third-eye, please send me as much energy as possible to begin to awaken all my psychic abilities....thank you" (say this 3 times)


It would be a good idea to use these two invocations at different times during the day, try not to do them one right after the other. Give yourself time to feel the energies of both, since they are very different. You should feel things going on the first time you try this. Also, both of these should be very stimuating, so if you do them right before you go to bed, you might have some problems falling asleep. I like to use the first one in the morning since it wakes me up and makes me feel great, it's a wonderful way to start the day.

Chant Om Namah Shivaya at least 108 times a day.

Each syllable is connected with the five elements that govern the five chakras along the spine, and Ohm is for the third eye. So it puts you in touch basically with the elements and purifies your chakras in the process. I've had results with it.

brow chakra is related to intuition. practice becoming aware of when you are receiving intuitive insights, act on them, strengthen the muscle by using it. chances are good taht your chakra is open, youre just not using it. Itis' like having gas in the car but not taking the car out for a drive.

What kind of meditation are you doing?

Some meditations are aimed at opening the third eye. Usually these have to do with focusing with eyes closed between the eyebrows in the center.

There is also a practice where you close your eyes and try to pull the eyelashes down very tightly on the eyes, then put your fingers on your eyes and apply a very slight pressure.

This causes one to see lights in the center and these lights will take the form of a disc or doughnut shape, the center of which is the third eye.

It depends how developed their abilities are and how long they have had these abilities that they have gained through having their third eye opened someone who has had their third eye open when they were a child and did not loose their abilities while growing up are usually the ones with the strongest abilities, but that is not to say an adult who opens their third eye through meditation e.t.c. wont have strong abilities.

I have heard and met people who could possibly possess the so called "supernatural" ability, such as fortune telling, reading people's mind, etc, but I am not sure. I am open minded. for the time being, I don't accept or reject those.

But then if somebody does have such ability, like what is described as having the third eye open, I would be interested in talking to her / him and pay for the service if wanted, provided that she or he can prove her / his ability.

I opened my third eye earlier this year, so i class myself as a newbie, since opening my third eye i can see auras of people and energy fields, i can lucid dream, have visions, sense spirits, i pick up peoples true intensions as if i can read them like a book, but at the moment i am a bit out of sync as my old reality and my new reality are kinda merging, as for me mentening other people with stronger abilites i had no one spercific in mind i just did a lot of reading before i attempted to open my third eye

you can try looking at your eyes in a mirror but a WARNING!!!! LOOKING AT YOUR EYES IN THE MIRROR FOR A LONG TIME CAN CAUSE PORTALS TO OPEN!!!!!!!...........OR SO I HEARD

also im not sure if this is true eigther about opening your third eye but another warning, having your third eye open is not good for the faint of heart, and im one of them well in a way yea

Your chakras are in various stages of being open. They're not usually closed. Maybe you're not actively using it, but that doesn't mean it's closed.

The third eye chakra is about intuition. It's clairvoyance. Close your eyes and visualize yourself sitting on a beach. Now you're using your third eye chakra. it's not magic.

It is good that you put in your effort and see your result!

A good friend of mine is a clairvoyant and a psychi. I regard him as my teacher and I have one-on-one chatting with him many times, each time for hours. I think he is outstanding. I believe he can read my mind well.

But I have not met anyone who can tell the past or the future accurately. I would love to meet one, if there is one.

I believe there is a difference in activating your pineal gland and opening your third eye. In fact, I believe very very few people living today have their third eye completely open. Before during Egypt and Atlantis, yes it was more common, but seing things with your inner visions does not mean your thir eye is open. You can be clairvoyant without having your third eye open.

And it is not open or closed. Everyone has a pineal gland and we use it to a different degree. Everyone can visualize or use their intuition, therefore it is never closed. I don't believe in closed chakras, only blockages.

I don't believe in spinning chakras. In the last 8 months of energy work, i have never once felt a chakra spin. Tickle, Tingle, throb and pound, buzz, fizz, bubble, pressures, tensions, pains, cob webs, intense sustained pins and needles, Feelings of rushing water - but not once have i felt spinning.

Likewise i think that chakras don't open or close. I think they can be dormant and sometimes unresponsive (until you coax them back into normalcy), but they're not little doors to be open and shut at the beginning and end of the day.

This is in my very limited experience though.

That may effectively be impossible. If the universe really is set in stone, a result of cause and effect unfolding, then yes the past and future may be clearly determined. If there's randomness however it may be much more difficult to see the past and future.

Regarding the OP...I noticed there's some advice relating to angels, some relating to auras, etc. Which brings me to belief. I don't really know everyone's personal beliefs, but I think it's important to understand that in order to maximize your effectiveness at opening up your chakras, you should try approaches that resonate with your personal beliefs. If you're like me and you have an aversion to supernatural beliefs, a down-to-earth, practical approach might work. If you're Christian, maybe chanting to angels might work for you. The point is that you should experiment to find out what suits you best. You'll learn more about yourself in the process as well

The best way to concentrate energy on it is to use it.

It is also connected to your pineal gland, eating crap can shut down your intuition and empathy quite quickly, because also you will produce less neurotransmitters like DMT, which are working in concert with subtle and interdimensional stuff.

My experience is that the brow chakra is spinning, I see it in front of my eyes spinning clockwise.

If you can't feel your chakras, try using a different intuitive modality. Try to hear them humming, or see them spinning and growing and clearing. Otherwise use claircognizance to simply know what state they are in and to change them.
