Understanding the Claires....

Can anyone explain why some people are claireaudient, while others are clairevoyant (or other) ?

Does the availability of the claires change/improve based on the spiritual growth of a person, or relate to openning of chakras in some way ? Or do the different claires manifest based on the spirit/guide with whom we are discussing, for example do some guides/spirits use only claireaudience, while others use untuition to communicate with us ... thoughts ?

Why do some people learn visually while others from hearing, others from doing?

Is just the spark of life I guess.

I think as you grow, you can add skills.

I think it's like Bonadea said...just the spark of life. For example, I know one thing I seem to have more clearly is clairaudience. My entire life I've been very sensitive to noises. I'm a very light sleeper, I can hear people talking from forever away (even now, when one of my ears is damaged inside) and I tend to get very aggravated by an overload of noises to the point of feeling ill. It's just how I am, so I think that's why it's my most prominent "claire."

You can pick up other means of communication, or rather strengthen them, along the way.

As for why your guides choose certain ways to communicate with you, I think it's really you who chose to communicate with them in that way. If you're clairaudient, they'll be auditory. If you're clairvoyant, they'll be visual, etc. If you have a combo of abilities, they may speak to you in many different ways. It all depends on what tools you have to work with and they come in to speak to you using those tools simply so you can receive their guidance more clearly.

That's just my opinion based on my experience, which is not extremely substantial compared to many, so someone else may be able to give you a much better answer.

That is an interesting way to put it. Throughout my childhood and into my adult years I always learned visually but I have found with my abilities being clairaudient and clairsentient I have to really concentrate. However, when it comes to telepathy my brain not only hears the messages but also sees a visual of the person if they are from the light. If not, then all I see is like a big black hole. So maybe those of us who have mastered vision need to master the other senses as well and this is why when we mapped our life out we chose these abilities to grace ourselves with.

Most people develop a dominant intuitive modality. But I beleive with practice you can learn them all. But you'll definitely have ones that are stronger for you. I'm very clairaudient and clairvoyant. Clairsentience escapes me most of the time. and I become claircognizant the longer I'm talking to a client.

I seem to be claircognizant and have started doing practice readings on people and have been getting some amazingly good (much better than expected) feedback, however I have a hard time trusting the data as much as I would if it were clairaudient or visual ... I've only experienced audience/visual about 2 or 3 times so I'm looking at ways I can expand on those abilities.

I picked up a new weird skill about 2 months ago where I can hear exactly what someone says just before they say it. As soon as I stop hearing it, they start saying it.

Is it normal to sometimes get the physical sensations so strong, sometimes it can actually be a little painful?

YES! And I've noticed sometimes it seems to last longer than just regularly physically feeling something, like a feeling of electricity combined with numbness in that area. I felt like I was smacked in the side of the head on one side then on the other one day and it freaked me out pretty bad and lasted for an entire day.

thanks heaps for your response. So good to know that its normal what I am feeling.

sometimes when I do a clearing if its a bad one, like the energy is causing the person chest pains and shortness of breath. It can take a few times and sometimes I feel like I take on some of what I clear . I can get similar symptoms too. Does that mean I aren't protecting myself properly or am I just feeling what they are. It's all very confusing.....

Wow don't think I would like the smacking in the side of the head..... I don't blame you for being freaked out.

I remember the very 1st clearing I did, about a year ago.
I couldn't stop crying and I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness and despair like my whole world was crumbling around me. The person I did the clearing on was very depressed. I was ok as soon as I did a clearing on myself, but it was horrible.

when I communicate with my spirit guides least I think its them, I get a very intense feeling/poke in my spine. I get the feeling of electricity down my back, not the numbness though.

The Claire's are foundated into the Chakra system. Clairvoyance is tied in with the Third-eye Chakra. Clairaudience is tied in with the Throat Chakra. Clairsentinence is tied in with the Heart Chakra. And Claircognizance is tied into the Crown Chakra.

Just like any other ability, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and some just have all their strengths in either the physical or the spiritual. It is not uncommon to display abilities with more than one claire, for example clairvoyance and clairaudience. If you develop it's respective Chakra, the corresponding claire ability will come more naturally.

What's more rare is developing all 4 claires and utilising all of them at will. Especially claircognizence. There is a fine line between claircognizence and Arrogance

I have encountered several business people who are claircognizant. I think it might be the reason they are successful.
