"Alien" encounter in transitional stage between being awake and sleeping

Today I laid down to take a nap. Before you fall asleep, there's a sort of transitional stage, that is sort of a combination of being awake and being asleep. During this time, you sort of begin to get lost in your thoughts, and they become very powerful. You start to sort of live out your thoughts, although it's not quite as real as dreams. I have read something that said that this state is very relevant to spiritual counters and the like. Often we don't remember this state, and generally we're not really conscious.

Anyways, I was in that stage, and somehow I snapped into semi-consciousness, by questioning whether I was dreaming or awake, and realizing that I couldn't characterize what I was as either. I was communicating with an entity. This whole thing is tough to exactly remember, but my impression is that he was from the future, or from another civilization in space that is more advanced than we are. He was telling me about how wonderful his civilization was, and that our world is heading for that as well. I asked him when our world would become this perfect civilization he was talking about. I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something along the lines of our world is already perfect like his, we just have to notice it. I said something like "But in our world there is murder and things like that that occur all the time. Certainly that doesn't occur in your civilization, and so our world can't be perfect if that occurs." He told me something like he understands why I think that way, but I need to stop comparing my ideas of how the world currently is vs. how they would be if the world was perfect. He said I shouldn't think about the future so much, and that if I can stay seeing the good in the present then perfection will come about naturally.

So yea, that was a pretty cool, unique, and strange experience. My impression as it was happening was a sort of annoyance, like he wasn't really answering my questions, and was sort of dodging what I was getting at. As the day has went on, though, I'm beginning to appreciate the experience more. Very interesting.

maybe its me being cynical, but i am always very cautious about people (actual people or otherwise) saying look at us we are perfect. it's possible it was benevolent, but just keep a critical eye... the world as it is righ tnow is not perfect. it, perhaps, has the capacity to get there, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done, and things really worth doing are not typically easy. this is, of course, just my opionion. so, take what works and leave the rest i guess. best!

His message sounds like many spiritual teachings that guide us to not dwell on the future (or the past) but rather to focus on the present.

That would be cool if you could train your consciousness to enter that state at will (as you go to sleep). Then you could accumulate more of such conversations and be able to put together some answers.

That would be nice. I've become conscious in this state a few times recently, so it seems I am somewhat developing the ability. I'll try to keep working at it.

There is an ex-remote viewer named "John" who claimed to have seen an alien similar to Crowley's LAM. He said he was half asleep/half awake and saw the entity looking at him from the foot of his bed. According to him, it was not a benevolent entity. I heard his story on some Christian "demon hunter" named Russ Dizdar's Internet show.

It (probably) wasn´t and alien or something of the future. But someone of higher conscious awareness. The more the level of consciousness increases of a human the more he or she will accept and understand things as they are (what I have been experiencing somehow things seem more beautiful than I first always thought). People who reach enlightenment (still far from where I am) are in such an high state of consciousness that the see this world as perfect for its possibility to be there. It is perfect because it exist or else it could not exist. You should maybe read the books of David R. Hawkins, then I recommend the trilogy power vs force, followed by the eye of I and ending with I.
