Thoughts and ears

I was looking up information on how information (thoughts) are picked up by spirits and people. And from what I've found thoughts from spirits and guides enter through our left ear and our thoughts come out our right ear... But I'm not entirely sure.

The reason why I looked this up is because I've been having alot of pain my ears... Mostly my right... It feels like something is being drilled inside my ear... Got real bad last night (nov 1) and i felt a big presence hovering above me... And when I turned on my right side when I was laying down I had it in my left ear and I got strange thoughts I knew weren't mine because all I thought about was all the stuff that was due in the morning... It's not something I want to have in my head.

Thinking about a ball of white light in the center of me and expanding while I breathed made the presence fade away along with the pain in my ears but... Well has anyone else experienced this? Or any reason as to why it would feel like something is drilling it's way in your brain through your ears? I only get this feeling real strongly in my own room and very faint else ware... It's almost invisible when I'm at the hospital which is pretty far away from my house... (30-40 min drive)
