Quote but no known meaning?

Today in church i got another voice in my head, and it spoke this;

"The one who does not speak says no prayer, but their eyes speak a thousand. The one who has no heart bleeds like the rest."

I keep getting stuff like this, and sometimes they make no sense. Any point on what it means?

Sounds like something a greek philosepher would say, maybe one in spirit is trying to pass on his massage through you

Hmm, the first part is unclear to me but the second part may mean that someone that detaches him/herself from the world will still suffer like the rest.

Just a guess/feeling on my part

If your church allows speaking in tongues, say it aloud and wait for another to interpret. Perhaps you are channeling the message for somebody else's benefit?

Another approach would be to remember that words are only handles to carry the idea of something from one person to another--NOT the thing itself. The para-normal world, in other words, doesn't always speak English. Trying to understand a psychic or para-normal message might be like a walk in the woods expecting to grasp the language of nature in your head instead of using your body to tune into the language of color, shape, sounds, smells, taste and touch.

Wish I had more possibilities to offer but my cat just jumped into my lap and her non-verbal message was pretty clear: "Pay attention to me, not the keyboard..."

Why don't you ask what it means in your head to the one who's speaking? Also, ask who is speaking.
It would be interesting to know.

People who don't speak correlate with introversion, look more within than seeking and doing outside, since they obviously don't speak. The inner being is the place of any bigger potential someone can imagine - it also implies the knowing that makes the kind of prayers religious people would do obsolete. Because you get send every possible thing all the time, it's just a matter of listening.
Eyes are usually euphemistically referred as the mirror of the soul, if you take a look at some people's eyes, some seem deeper than others.

So if your eyes are 'speaking the deeper language of your soul' this emphasizes the relationship between someone who speaks a prayer, just for a prayers sake and the person who accesses his inner potentials, comparing it with 1000 prayers to 1 prayer.

The heart in many ways and on many levels is a very potent center of who you are. It doesn't come from nothing that people over all the time have honored it. So if you don't embrace your heart you will live a life like all the people who don't follow it, which is referred here as bleeding, which can be a form of slowly dying and losing your moving, circular energy that allows you to live a life of meaning, joy etc.

i wish i could..but its not that simple. trying for an explination only gets the same/another saying like this.

I like qwertyportne's suggestion about speaking aloud.

The first thing that came to mind was a personal revelation I had: I was a devout (christian) church member, had a falling out and focused on increasing my self-awareness. I went back to the church after a year or so, and didn't speak (as I would have in the past) and instead observed everything from an objective standpoint. All of the members who made eye contact with me, especially from a distance, were stricken and behaved differently. As for the second part, it's a bit more personal; I am unsure as to whether or not I have a metaphorical heart, and if I ever did, it was stolen by an entity I struggle to identify. But I'm still (mainly) human.

This one is about the nature of godliness and enlightenment. Spoken communication has the tendency of diluting the endless, profound joyfulness of pure existence. The only communication you need to reflect that, you can convey using the eyes.

The second part has a dual meaning. It speaks both to what we think of as evil, and to those who've closed themselves off to the outside world.

The evil person, the one we'd think of as having no heart, is no less of a living, breathing person than anyone else. He has feelings, desires, and wishes.

The person whose closed himself, has done so because the world's attacked him over and over and over again, and he can't take another arrow. So he grows a very thick skin, refuses to let anything go through. But bleed he still does, on the inside. Closing yourself off is a way to slowly die.

If you ever want to figure out whose whispering these things in your ear, I'd start looking around your family history, the type of messages and the level of abstraction indicate that one of your ancestors is paying close attention to you, helping to facilitate your growth by making your mind do flips to figure this stuff out.

It's late, so I only skimmed the other posts.

What I took it as was it's the quiet person who's doing the most praying opposed to the person always going on and on about doing it.

The second is we all feel pain/heartache.

They feel close to you for some reason. Which is why I said to go look at family members/ancestors. That's a connection that transcends the normal way we have of looking at these things.

Chances are, you have an entire raft-load of spiritual treasures waiting for you to discover. To do so, be awake and aware at all times and prepared to learn and search.

Duh!!!

I wasn't with anyone tho, so not sure what it could of meant. Maybe it was just my thoughts.
