An experience in El Paso

Hello, I'm new to this forum, just found it a day ago and I wanted to post an experience I had while traveling to El Paso TX back in 2009 that has stuck with me.

Please give me your interpretation of this experience. This may have just been a lucid dream or I was visited by something either way the memory has stuck with me for several years now.

While on travel for my work I was staying at the Hilton. I woke up around 3:00 am and felt like this presence was floating above me while I slept. The height was around 3-4 feet above and I also felt like I wanted to reach out and touch it.

The only thing I felt from it was its curiosity of me. So I fell back to sleep without a care as I didn't feel threatened. There was no menacing feeling or anger felt by me and again the feeling I got was pure curiosity almost childlike.

The best way to describe its movement was that the outside rotated around the center eye in a pulsating fashion. With each pulse the outside fans would grow a little larger then smaller as it slowly rotated clockwise. Each portion of the fan fell in a wing like pattern.

A being from another dimension? Or maybe it was a gateway, eyes are sometimes gateway by which we can cross to other worlds, I have experienced it, however it was an eye that appeared in my mind and turned into a tunnel. In your case it was like an actual being, so I dont know.

Where you able to see that image even with your eyes closed? Have you ever had a migraine?

I used to have migraines as a child, but outgrew them. Several years latter I experienced this image with bright colors and vibrating parts. Unlike your experience, this happened in the middle of the day. A few more years passed and experienced that same image again. It has since happened a few more times. I learned that it was an ocular migraine. (no headaches involved). Perhaps this is what you were experiencing.
