Mysterious cigar smell

I have been hearing loud noises for months now they always come from upstairs and start as soon as it gets dark, every time i go to investigate the noises stop, it is not my three year old daughter as she is always fast asleep, and it is not water hammer as a plummer has checked the plumming, my neighbour has claimed she hasn't heard any noises, now for the last two weeks at night when i go to the bathroom there is a very strong smell of cigar even though no body smokes cigars in my house, could this be something to do with spirits?

You might check out to see who might of died in your house . See if they smoked cigars . Lets say you find his name , you can call him by name and find out what he wants . A lady told me she knew a pastor that smoked , when he died she said she never saw his ghost , but could smell cigarette smoke in his church . desert rat

I may need to know how to encourage it to move on after what happened this morning, my daughter woke up crying just after three in the morning she was in a fretfull state and kept saying mummy as i entered her bedroom i heard a voice i have never heard before growl the word mummy, that is when i decided to take her out of her room and took her downstairs to comfort her, when we were downstairs she was pointing at something accross the room and she was telling me to look but i couldn't see anything we slept on the sofa bed, i remember thinking before falling asleep that i would fight it if i had to to protect my daughter, when i woke up this morning in extreme pain, it felt as though i had been bashed on my back with a lead pipe, the thing is i need to protect my daughter, but i am not sure how to do that, i cant move because of financial reasons so what do i do?
