Circulation of white light

This is from a ritual of the golden dawn and is in the book creative visualization. I post at the request of another forum member. You sit facing east , the spine streght. Do slow , deep breathing until deeply relaxed. Visualize a point of white light in deep space. While inhaling draw this light to the chakra at the top of your head. Visualize this chakra being charged by the light. Do this 3 times and move on to the next chakra.Do each 3 times . After you have charged the root chakra draw the white light back up the spine and out the top of the head , then down around the body, and back to the root chakra , do this a few times. This also works standing, faceing east , with the arms up and the palms up facing the sky , then you do the breath of fire or dragon breath. Drawing the white light to each chakra.chakras desert rat

Would it sound weird if I said that I have done something nearly exactly the same as this, without instruction or ever reading something out of a book?

I am not sure why I have started healing/meditating while facing East, but I also perform pranayama (life-force breathing) and something I call Chakra Attunements (funneling white energy through all 7 Chakras at once).

This is a very powerful meditation for charging your body with a very large amount of energy.

It really makes me wonder about the origin of that which initially instructed me to do this meditation.

i actually just read about something very similar to this last night.

Concerning this portion of the exercise:

After you have charged the root chakra draw the white light back up the spine and out the top of the head , then down around the body, and back to the root chakra , do this a few times

In the version I read, I found it useful information for the "circulation part" to imagine the white light or energy splitting into 2 once it gets to the crown. Each of the 2 energy/white light streams flows on the outside of both arms, connecting at the feet. Then the cycle starts again, going up from the root.

This might have been what you meant already, but the clarification of the energy splitting into two streams that go on both sides of the body really helps me.

I suppose you could also imagine the light flowing down all around from the crown chakra, like a fountain.

I like the idea of imagining the energy traveling in the spine. This is not something I was doing before.

This is another bonafide visualization exercise called simply 'The Fountain Exercise', and you bring light up from the earth and allow it to cascade out of your crown and all around your auric field, washing all crap back to the earth.

It's a good one to practise on public transport when you don't want to draw attention to yourself.

There is no one , "best way " to do the circulation of white light . There are sevral . Some say to just visualize your whole body to be filled at once. The one I posted is basicly the one in the books written by Melita Denning and Osborn Phillips in some of Llewellyn"s books . I think some methods will work better for some and not others . To elucidate I would be a bit cautious is doing the yoga pose version , facing east arms up and palms facing up and doing the breath of fire , in a moving buss . Its hard to keep your balance and not ever one would understand, and as the buss turns you are not alwayse facing east . desert rat

I was speaking of doing the Fountain Exercise desert rat, not the one you mentioned. As I said, it's an easy one to visualize that will not draw any attention to you whilst on public transport. It does not require standing up or facing any particular direction.

As I was eating at taco bell , its a fast food resurtant here in the U.S. , and was thinking about you and this post . I started playing with white light . It works any where , next I may try it on a buss. I am not sure about doing it while driving . I have made clouds dissapere while driving(usly weighting at a red light ) , but unlike the movie "men who stare at goats " I have not run into a rock , and I dont stare at goats . Please dont stare at clouds , goats ,or text while driving. desert rat

That was from the movie men that stare at goats . The movie is part serious and part funny . In the movie a guy is making clouds dissapere while driving and he hits a rock and wrecks . The goat part, they stare at goats and make there hart stop , when he does this he feels so bad for the goat he quits the program . I can make clouds disapere by looking at them , the only I time I do this while driving is when stopped ,like at a red light . On text messaging while driving , find a parking lot somewhere . desert rat

Ok guys I tried to do this to try rid me of a Strong negative entity starting with my crown chakra. now is there anyone out there who has successfully rid negative energy attachments doing The Circle of Light. .because I feel a strong resistance that I can't be able to get through because when I draw energy to my crown chakra I start to slowly vibrate and when I breath in more and more drawing this white light to my crown (maybe when I get to my 8th breath) I start to shake HARD and move around uncontrollably and I feel contractions in my neck and head - so basically I would like to know from the experienced people if this exersize can rid negative energies and if there's something else maybe I can do . .

Rombus , visualize your self filling the neg. entities with white light , dont feel hate or angur to them . You can ask your higher self to help you . desert rat

What I was meant to say is that I feel it working because I was shaking vigorously while meditating and I felt its connection (cord?) Leaving my neck an coming in and out and I felt it moving around in my aura mainly on my left side then I heard my mother coming up and it latched on to me again. . IT is hard to rid this thing by myself I can feel I'm just not strong enough yet . .so tomorrow I am going to a church(I'm not christian anymore) for some assistance ii think with their prayers and my visualisations that this thing will leave then when I get enough cash I'll seek help(physically) from a psychic. . . Thanks for the tip Desertrat it has a greater effect against this Entity/ghost/whatever it is

Yes thanks . .today I was talking to local spiritual shaman deals with these sort of things. .(She also stays in Johannesburg -thank God. .these people are rare ) I spoke over the phone and she said she couldn't sense anything specifically on me. . .anyway yes she said to by some sage and daily visualise an egg Gold light around me daily instead of white because white light draws them (apparently) and ask with love for protection from arch.Michael. . .and to dissipated any fear or anger towards it if all else fails I'm heading straight to her - No way on Earth I'm getting possessed. .My whole story is on a thread I made some days ago. ."Som serious help please - Entity Attachment"
